The roster moves Denver made is already showing up big in the stats. Hardaway Jr. with a 20 point night. Bruce Brown had a great night the game before. This is help they didn't have over the last couple of seasons.

I've watched almost literally every minute of Murray's career and I haven't seen him look this good physically since the championship run. He's got the old bounce and explosiveness back. He actually looks more like he did in the 2020 playoffs. This version can create separation from almost any defender and when he gets separation he can score in bunches. He's been like clockwork most every regular season with 21 points, 6 assists and 4 boards on excellent shooting splits. If he can get that up to 25 a game with that same efficiency Denver can win 58-60 games even in the brutal west.
And now Joker is out of shape lol

Murray should average 22-23 points this season by being in shape and healthy. Other players will start to heat up and a solid 22-23 points from Jamal will be great for the Nuggets.
One point, Jamal entered seasons out of shape because he was banged up. 2020 was a very truncated offseason. Then he tore his acl in the middle of 2021. When he came back, he was still hurting, but won a championship….which means another short offseason, especially when training BJJ all Summer. The next season was after he played hurt through the Olympics. Now is the first time he has started the season healthy; therefore, also in shape.

Out of shape comes from the press. The team generally considers him to be in the best shape. I believe he has been fighting injuries since the championship run. It started with overworking not being out of shape.
When Jamal Murray is on, he seriously gets some of the nicest buckets in the whole league.
Denver fans are thrilled to see Jokic not having to exhaust himself to wins early on. Jamal has a lot to do with that, along with the depth.
as a Nuggets fan I just want them to win another title but do think it would be fun to see Jamal finally be selected as an all-star
