Nurse also let them get blitzed at the end of the 3rd. He did this last year too. If ur team is about to get wrecked u CANT stick to ur hoped and planned for rotation. You just can’t or you’ll lose. You gotta call time out way earlier and get ur guys back out there if ur losing big like that

I think Nurse blew this game by getting too cute with his lineups. Also, the play at the end of the game was horrible. Why line Grimes up at half court? That should've been Maxey.

They was down 10 Embiid comes in and the come all the way back. It’s ok to say Tyrese showed his inexperience with that floater. He could’ve killed some time on the clock first and after that QG shouldn’t have even had the ball. Shit happens but to blame Embiid when he was in the game for the come back is crazy
You can’t shy away from bringing along Embiid. It’s early in the season, butter to do it now than later in the season
Embid made them lose, he is a liability he moves like a mannequin. Unless he gets better as the season goes on he will be the reason we lose many games. Bona was being held back from being great and Drummond had way too much time. Again Nick Nurse couldn’t stand watching the young players win so he had to sabotage his own team, I really don’t like Nurse.

Simply put our rebounding and defense was what made us lose. Andre Drummond especially was HORRIBLE he couldn’t defend he couldn’t rebound. Idk why Nurse decided to rock with him instead of Bona who has been ELECTRIC. Credit to Philly for fighting hard… but this game should have been winnable. Hope Paul George and Jared McCain come back very soon, same for Dominic Barlow we really miss his impact hopefully they can come back in Sunday or Tuesday or Wednesday. Let’s bounce back and win in dominating dashing Sunday against the Nets. GO SIXERS

We need a new coach we need somebody that actually knows how to coach these players we got we got a great team this year. Our team this year is hands-down one of the best and our bench is one of the best but the coach sucks.

Bro I love how you break this down. You're literally repeating everything I've said as of late. I've been telling everybody the same thing and it doesn't make sense to have a slow, hurt embiid in the game when you have bona that is young and can jump out the gym to block shots. Even Drummond who is old ASF can still rebound efficiently for them. But embiid just wants to play point guard so bad!!! He always is at the top of the key just waiting for the pass to shoot the 3 pointer!! Never posts anyone up and when he does it's a soft ass back down that he lays up! He is a very big, soft ass center imo. YES, he has a great shot but use it when necessary!! This guy tried a fade away at the free throw line and bricked it!! He needs to play his position and let the guards play their game because when he's not on the court they are a whole completely different team!!! They are young and fast and when you throw bona in the mix that can get back on defense that makes them scary!!! Embiid to slow, doesn't get back on D, and plays the top of the key way too much!!!!
Relax – it’s one game and we have to figure out how to integrate all these players. I know we are excited but Maxey has been playing out of his mind – that’s not sustainable. You gonna have to learn how to play with other players. Let them figure it ou t now. Maxey and VJ as good as they have been is not going to carry this team by themselves. We are gonna need everyone.
I think the answer to your question is he nurse was forced to play embiid .. hes a max player on the first amazon prime game of the year against a rival for the cup … nothing to do with basketball..

Embiid still getting back into NBA shape he was injured & didn't play basketball for a long time. You can't expect him to come back & be prime Embiid off the rip it can take 20-30 games before he starts feeling like that again
He is not attacking Joel Embiid for missing that shot. What he is emphasizing is the fact that when indeed is in the game, or offensive production slows down the pace of the game and leaves us less opportunity to score more points because we are not pushing the floor as hard as we do when we have a smaller lineup.

Drummond should not have been in that game over Bona. They needed energy rebounding and rim protection Drum not it no more.

Not sure if we seen the same game the guards was turning the ball over what did we have 19 Tos ?? Either shot was blocked going to the lane or a turnover. I believe Embiid scored 10 pts in the 3rd and honestly if he didn't stay out so long we may have took the lead in the 3rd. Taking him out is what hurt us.
