Side note the second apron basketball penalties are stupid and will ultimately ruin good teams that draft well.
You should have Bill Chisholm's picture up there, he's the one who gutted the roster after he took over. He's the one that shipped a championship team for salary savings, and let this squad enter the season without a front court. This team is fundamentally broken, bc the front office was not allowed to spend any money, bc the league okay'd a sale to a hustler who is intending to flip the team in a few years. Dont put the evil on the players.

I hope we suck all year and get a better pick. It's starting to show how much hurt we're in by missing on draft picks recently. I had high hope for Baylor but he might not even be a rotation guy. We passed on some good big guys for him. Hugo looks great tho.
Their bigs are horrible. They have Brown playing the 4 on defense. That is not sustainable at all unless your goal is to get Jaylen injured.
They need to develop the couple young guys, keep Jaylen as safe as possible and pray for ping pong luck!
You gotta realize Boston has major talent but is learning to have the chemistry. The Bigs are fine and Garza can score like anyone in the league. The forwards are fine and getting better. Guard play is good but all of them need to learn how to pass to the open man. Right now cause they are new some players tend to hog the ball. Once they learn where to pass it like Garza can shoot lights out in the paint. Simon’s is an amazing guard. I think Tillman and quests have enough talent to get them thru. As we get more and more weeks in they will all get better but you gotta use Garza and Simon’s going. These two guys are too good not to use their scoring capabilities

“Do they want to win?” Is a legit question and also why the NBA betting scandal doesn’t matter. The system is the problem. Rewarding teams for losing should be illegal and considered fraud. The league sucks. The system sucks. The players don’t.
Asking legitimately if a team should lose is absolutely wild and legitimate at the same time.
Blow it up and start over. Promotion and relegation, get rid of the NBA as we know it.
Celtics should fire Brad Stevens and hire Rachel as their DOBO.

They shouldn't tank for a draft pick. They'd be lowering expectations for everyone on the team for a maybe in the draft.
Might be. They are. How do you tank with an all-star and a fringe all-star? You make the rest of the roster as awful as you possibly can. Garza, Boucher, Tillman, Minot, Queta are all awful shooters and would not get any run on an 8th seed team. These are castoffs that nobody wants and they are all getting significant minutes. Also in Joe Mazzulla's system they shout a ton of 3s but this group can't shoot so they figure they can lose more that way.
If you put one of those top players IN next years draft with Tatum and Brown the league better look out

These so called experts haven’t noticed the Celtics have started to dominate on the boards last two games. They sure like to minimize Simons, who is a wonderfully skilled shooter. I happen to think Garza and Minott are good players. If Boucher can get untracked the rebounding will be fine. Injuries will always be a concern. As I speak there are players around the league who would like to join the Celtics in 2026.
Reporters are thirsty for takes that get views. We're 5% of the way through the season and these two are making conclusions on a team that still has talent.

This is such a dumb discussion & even for Mannix. Stevens joined Celtics as head coach asking Ainge not to throw games as a precondition. And looing at Celtics team culture have they ever stood this low??
Dont wanna hear it. Theyre 2-3 with the 3rd best pt differential in the conference. Close losses/lead giveaways & 2 big wins. Might be too early a take.
