    The Pelicans are much like the Saints The front office and owners are so terrible that any good coach wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole

    Joe may have to blow it up. Current roster is not good enough to go anywhere this year, and the timeline to get max value for trey, z, herb is this year. Maybe that has been joes plan all along. But maybe a different coach can turn it around.

    Gayle Benson is so out of her depth running professional sports franchises. She’s surrounded with power players who live in their own hubris-filled echo chambers. Mainstream local media won’t call them out, so guys like Jake and Kushner have to instead.

    This TEAM HAS 6'10 PLAYERS TAKING 3 POINTERS. THEY ARE NOT GOOD AT THIS . THESE DUDES SHOULD LIVE IN THE PAINT. INSTEAD THEY GET NERVOUS BECAUSE THE OTHER TEAMS ARE MAKING 3. IF THATS YOUR GAME PLAN THEN PRACTICE THE 3 POINT SHOT AND NOTHING ELSE. THEN LOSE BECAUSE THE 3 POINT SHOT IS A HIGH PERCENTAGE SHOT WE FALL BEHIND BECAUSE WE CANNOT MAKE 3 ,THEN IF YOU SUCK AT 3 PLAY BULLY BALL INSIDE THE PAINT AND LET THEM GET IN FOUL TROUBLE. COME WILLIE IAM NOT EVEN A COACH AND CAN SEE THIS !!! WHY U CANT

    Let's just start with firing the coach. How do you lose to a team by 30 or so points that is missing THREE starters? Champs or not that should never happen.

    The problem is the pelicans need to leave new orleans and go some else so we dont have to worrie about this anymore, dealing with the 1-8 saints is more than enough…..

    We’re the worse team in the West and maybe the entire NBA right now. Three 30 point losses and we’re just not competitive. You’re right on point Jake this team has no identity and Zion is not the guy to carry this team. 7 years and I don’t see much improvement to his game. His jump shot is still below average. He is who he is. He’s a PF who attacks the paint and that’s it. Unfortunately in today’s NBA that’s not going to win you games. This team needs to build around Fears. Fears play style will win you games in today’s NBA. He is a true point guard who can control the tempo, attack the paint, and a decent shooter. They are also not winning bc Trey Murphy is really underperforming. At best he should be the 3rd or 4th option on this team. He is not a playmaker he’s a catch and shoot. He looks uncomfortable trying to attack the paint and passing the ball. They need to stop having him play the point like BI, he is no where near the talent BI was. Treys is a great catch and shoot player but he is not a playmaker and he looks uncomfortable acting as a playmaker. Hopefully after they fire Green they will have a coach who can put these players in the best position to succeed. It’s inevitable at this point that Willie Green will be fired.

    If you keep Green, you’re telling the players there’s no organizational accountability. You’re also committing to lose this year, which, WHOOPS! Thanks Troy Weaver!

    Willie has to be gone come Monday afternoon. I’m going to the game Tuesday, either to boo non-stop or celebrate the page being turned. And if Willie IS still there, that’s the last game we attend until he’s gone.

    I’m picking some other teams to also follow this year, just so watching NBA games isn’t so depressing all the time. We’re looking awful on this season’s timeline, and because of Troy Weaver’s weird love affair w players from the DMV area, we don’t have the best two picks in next year’s draft. Nothing to look forward to either way.
