Lonzo Ball | Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Atlanta Hawks | Full Box Score

I support Lonzo Ball, as you know. But I am shaking my head at some of these plays. Let’s just pray he gets playoff time. Also, it’s weird to type in Cavaliers after typing in Bulls for so long.

Lonzo Ball had a statline of 8 points (3/8 from the field (2/6 3PT), 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 4 turnovers, and 5 personal fouls.

All footage belongs to the NBA.

  1. hit shots early and his confidence just goes way too high, like he forgets almost that what makes him so good is his smart play making not hero ball

  2. Lonzo just needs to drive more and keep that mid range going. Cant just shoot threes hes so much more than that

  3. I don’t know what you guys are talking about with hero ball. He took one shot that ig you could call hero ball, but even that one was just a heat check. Every other shot was just a good shot. I will say though, he picks up his dribble too easily nd he isnt running the pick and roll with speed. He’s slow playing it which allows the defense to relax cause they have no pressure of a downhill drive so the big can drop and the guard can trail him to contest since he isnt doing it with urgency.

Plus side is, it appears as though they want lonzo to be doing more on ball playmaking which is good cause it should lead to aggression from a passive player.

  4. He runs from all the midrange stuff, and he doesn't like contact. Atlanta started figuring out how to guard him with those turnovers down the stretch. They know he'll touch the paint, but he doesn't really want contact and he doesn't want to drive the lanes. He has to attempt those other shots, and he has to get to the line more. Thats how he can consistently average double digit games. He's starting to knock those free throws down so lets go Zo. Go crazy!
