This is definitely an off night for Wemby. But considering an off night still resulted in 4 blocks, 1 steal, and 9 rebounds, he's still impactful. He needs a 3 and D and a solid forward and that pressure will come off of him. De'Aaron Fox will undoubtedly not be hesitant to pass him the ball either. The real unstoppable move is driving and lobbing up high where only he can reach it.
I already observed this last 2-3 games ago. When Wemby is being double or triple team and he is very conscious with his shot attempt. I believe this could be fixed when Luke Kornet is back. Obviously due to Spurs lack of another offensive big when Wemby is on the floor allowing opponent team to clogged the paint. Our guards failed to generate good plays for Wemby. Anyways, we can move to the next game and there 3 days to figure it out before Lakers game. Go Spurs Go.

You missed the most important thing. The bigs we picked up in the offseason are out. Wemby not getting much rest because Biyombo is looking like Collins from last year. When they come back itāll make a big difference. Another problem to me is Vassell. Heās shooting a lot but they look like bad shots. Heās way too streaky. Might need to give his time to someone else
If your opponent shoots 70 percent behind the 3 point line you're going to lose.
They shut Wemby down . Great players are consistent every game. He is not him yet .
I think Wemby starts to get a bit tired cause of the abscence of Kornet and Olnyk. He spending a all lot of energy on the court and has no backup

Yeahh man, Wemby has been amazing, but we can not forget his human after all… and let's be clear, even in a off night offensivelly, he got us 4 blocks, 1 steal and 9 boards… and his +/- was the best in the team… so the problem is not only his perfomance, was the entire team wasn't good… Wemby will have to adapt, the defenses gonna crash on him on night basis… he will evolve his playmaking for sure, that's the next level… I pretty sure that they will notice it…
Vic was not in his usual shape. You have got to expect it for a 7 foot 5 or 6 human being more than for others, especially if he is still growing… But what he could improve when he is less in shape than usual is this: better ball protection; focusing more on his great playmaking ability; and get as close to the basket as possible while initiating more contacts and drawing more fouls. Feasible… If he had focused on these assets last night, I think the Spurs might not have lost, and he would have had 7-10 more points, less turnovers and way more assists…
Yea man, chill, just a bad night. Young teams do that. Yes weird for Wemby but he needs to know he canāt be that quiet. But I remember one year he had really bad āTexasā allergies that could be messing with him. Also Harper is a strained calf. So thatās best news.

We were also completely dry from 3 in the 1st half especially and were missing the open shots generated by Vic's gravity being double/triple teamed. Suns had no reason not to cram the paint and throw an extra body at wemby

Worried about Harper more than anything else. But man I have pretty pricey tickets to rockets and taking a friend for their first game. Would suck if rox just do what suns did and shut Wemby down (apparently itās still very easy). Really really hoping they bounce back but also we get players back and for the love of god, Release de Aron fox !!
This what Iām being telling my people that he has looked out of it three games. He just didnāt look energetic. Biyombo needs to go. Heās seems disinterested during the huddles before the game. He got upset with Carter for a bro moment. The game before it looked Castle and Keldon had to sike him up because he was in a mood. If you donāt believe me watch the huddles at the previous games. Then when heās in the game all heās doing is ordering people around while missing his queues. I mean if Bryant and mostly Barnes have to brought off the bench to replace Victor that should say it all. Heās slow and provides no defence ( weāve all known heās a liability on the offensive side) . Heās done! I donāt understand why heās even on the court.
David Jones Garcia will be surprising a lot of people, if he gets more minutes.
You can see wemby being exhausted after playing full games since kornet got injured and they don't want to play their other big. He was at his best against the Mavs when he could rotate with someone else.
