Watching Ingram play, I have to wonder why he's been injury-prone most of his career. He seems to have a very economical game, he's not a high flyer and is very deliberate in his moves. It looks like Darko's rotations have kept him in the low to mid-thirties in minutes each game so he's not being over used right now.
Regarding baseball, I sort of drifted away from the sport the last ten years or so, Originally a Montrealer, I was a huge Expos fan up to the nineties and never quite cozied up to the Jays even though I was a Torontonian during their two World Series wins and lived there up to 2023, I' retired to Calgary and did not watch a minute of MLB until they made the World Series and decided to devote time to watching them, The key word is devote.
What drove me away from the sport (and the NFL) was the length of many games, often 3-4 hours long. I couldn't invest that much time into every game, no matter how "exciting' they were. If I were a die-hard fan, the 18 inning marathon and yesterday's yo-yo of a game, both losses, would be disheartening to say the least. I think that's why most fans have that empty feeling that will take awhile to recover from.
The use of my time is also a big part of why I'm a Raptors fan. Most games are within two and a half hours and I still have plenty of time to do other things after (bonus: games start two hours earlier because I'm a Calgarian now).
Long post but that's my analysis.

This kid understands the game very well. Look at him after he passed the ball to BI at :1:45, He ran to get the rebound. This kind of players is so rare now, but I still prefer Paprika over him. Darko must give him some time. The kid was tearing it apart in the D League.

About the jays… Feels like everyone is mourning the ending and "death" of this particular edition of the Jays team that was so easy to love top to bottom, with so many beautiful storylines from worst to first, storybook endings that was ready to topple these big bad dodgers, yet allowing it to slip through their fingertips. The journey of Treys season felt only fitting that it would come and intersect with the final cherry on top of winning the world series.
The older you get, the more truly you recognize that the future versions are never guaranteed to be better.
