The last statement is the right one. These types of players are a time bomb, at some point in a year or two they will go back to their worse nature and force the team into a bad trade. That's why heat fans who actually pay attention never supported a trade for kyrie or ben simmons. A few exciting 50 point games aren't worth a couple of years with bad contracts after a dramatic trade.
Zaslow needs to calm down. Calling a grown man a child because you don't like how he responds is a little disrespectful. Morant didnt unload on the media. He directed media to the coaching staff. New coaching staff not clicking with players… this could really be a bigger issue. Im still trying to figure out why Jenkins staff was let go in 23' and then Jenkins in 24'. What happened? Amin made the best point. His perspective had more nuance.

Among other complications…that’s the thing, Ja is not a charming media personality. He had some hood credibility because his play was so athletic and dynamic, but his personality only turns on for people in his inner circle. He is not the kind of person who can make the media move on past the gun era. He does ridiculous stuff, in a really forgiving media market with few built in distractions, but will not get out of his own way for more than six months at a time. I’m not suggesting that he has to be Mr. Chuckles, but if you’re going to be a perpetual self saboteur, you have to have a mechanism to draw people back in.
