The Last Spurs team to win the championship is probably the most entertaining, especially the way they dominated the playoffs. But Wemby by himself is too exciting not to watch, even as a Warriors fan

Don"t disrespect Spurs 2013-2014, probably the best team in modern history and far more exiting to watch than today's basketball. You guys know very well how lethal was this team because you played against them.
McLaughlin is a little better than I thought, but I do think they’re shooting themselves in the foot by not playing David Jones Garcia, he would stretch these leads we’re getting a lot more with the bench unit
I love Sochan but they need to trade him and Castle should always be a starter, he's number 2 before wemby and he's already becoming a leader on and off the court.

Wemby is a point-center. At this point, you could have 4 pg's with Wemby out there and he's still gonna kill you.
They've been this good and they haven't even played Fox or Sochan. Luke has shown his skill set on both ends, we've yet to see Olynik step in. Harper has been ballin outta control, with a surprise offensive weapon on the bench. The Spurs are stacked with talent. Wemby has definitely lit a fire of greatness in all his teammates. GO SPURS GO

In my opinion Fox will start. I see Harper running the second unit with Kornet and Barnes. If Sochan is still legit. I see starting lineup being Fox, Vassell, Castle at the 3 cuz he’s avg 5-6 turnovers a game, he’s not a point guard, Sochan, Wemby.
2nd unit- Harper, Keldon, Barnes, Kornet. I see Harper becoming the sixth man. Crazy part Spurs can go deeper in the depth and use a Olynik or Waters as another knock down shooter. Spurs have been going on these 5-6 minute shooting droughts the last two games, I believe that Fox can calm those waters and get the Spurs a bucket during those times

Spurs gotta rack up this "easy" schedule. No NBA is really bad these days, like they're all a threat any given night but Spurs have an opportunity to rack up a lot of wins and give themselves a buffer for the late season grind and get into the playoffs. Eventually they will lose and most likely multiple times in a row; it's going to be interesting to see how they respond or push through that as a young team. So excited for this season and the media excited about it too hahaha

Hard disagree that the old Spurs were boring. That was the beautiful game. Selfless, amazing ball movement. It was a better brand of basketball back then. Too 3 ball heavy these days.
Castle is a beast. And Harper already looks like a veteran.
I can see lineups where you have Fox at PG, Harper at the 2, and Castle at the 3, Sochan at the 4 and Wemby at the 5.
Would be a little concerned with 3 shooting, but what an athletic, lockdown defensive group.

You take on the attitude of your leader. Tim Duncan was boring, so they came across as boring to casual fans. No Spurs fan thought it was boring, I can assure you of that. Wemby is not boring, so this team is exciting. But the difference between boring and exciting is closely tied to winning and losing, this team needs to keep winning.
