Hornets Split Weekend: Rookies Shine in Win vs. Jazz, LaMelo Ball Injury Update

The team had an up-and-down weekend, splitting their two home games. The first contest was a 122-105 loss to the physical Minnesota Timberwolves , a game where LaMelo Ball played despite a new right ankle impingement injury. This loss reinforced a trend: this team struggles against bigger, stronger opponents, especially while missing Grant Williams and Brandon Miller.

However, in the second game, LaMelo sat out , and the team responded beautifully with a 126-103 win over the Utah Jazz. The rookies were the story of the night.
