  1. This team struggled a lot last year too, hopefully they will get things figured out faster this time around. I am worried they won't have enough care until later in the season though.

  2. 6:29 a good coach would have benched both those guys and literally played rookies over them for such piss-poor performance. But Chris Finch has proven, with Ant out, he has no control over this team and is just flat-out a bad coach

  3. This sounds like a "COACHING" problem…lets face it finchy has always been bad doesnt motivate no offensive scheme or even sets….this team will continue to keep going down because theres no "REAL" coaching…any "COACH" can hold players accountable IF THE PLAYERS ALLOW THEM TOO…but see this was supposed to be Chris Finchs super power…but it dont mean squatif you dont know how to coach…we would be better off hiring a former player/coach who knows how it "FEELS" to win and coach

  4. This is a very flawed team.

We're overreliant on Gobert to handle the bulk of the paint defense and rebounding, and he's underwhelming at it right now. He's 33. It's only gonna get worse from here. Beringer, his supposed heir-apparent, is only now turning 19. There is nobody to bridge the timeline.

We're overreliant on Jaden to handle the bulk of the perimeter defense. With no NAW to back him up, he's the only viable perimeter player in the current rotation who isn't a liability. Asking him to navigate screens and stick to the ballhandler for 30 minutes a night seems like too much.

We're overreliant on Randle to handle the bulk of the offense (with Ant out). He's balling on that end at least, but this really highlights the lack of a secondary playmaker on the roster. Conley is 38. Dillingham, his supposed heir-apparent, is only 20 and isn't NBA ready. Attempts to bridge the timeline by running Divincenzo at point have failed miserably. Stop trying to use him as one.

Ultimately I think this is on the front office. Ever since we first traded for Rudy and Mike (aged 30 and 35 at the time of the trade), we knew that this iteration of the team had its days numbered. Drafting two rookies, aged 19 and 18, and waiting for them to grow into their roles (when Ant and Jaden will be in the middle of their primes) is not how you build a perennial contender.

  5. I know Naz is well loved but he’s a one dimensional player who can’t defend. I really wanted them to keep NAW instead as he can at least play defense. I don’t understand why Randle isn’t a better defender. He certainly has the size, strength and athleticism to be a good defender. Gobert for all his faults is a decent rim protector when he actually plays well. He is definitely a liability on offense. I love your videos!

  6. It'd be something if they drafted someone who has a defensive skill set to help with exactly the things pointed out in this video. At some point Finch's refusal to play the young player's needs to stop. In the new CBA, team's need to develop and play their young players

  7. Rough start to the season. Not giving up, but there's something going on beyond physical issues (injuries/ageing). They look very disjointed out there and some people (esp. Rudy, Naz) don't have their heads in the game. I get Naz, but Rudy on that last shot from AR looked like he was a million miles away from the action. Didn't get his hands up or shut down the lane, turned his back like he was waiting for a board on a final shot attempt??? That's not just physical decline.

  8. Shocking. Wolves do absolutely zero in the offseason and here they are. Finch is a liability. Ant will need an All-NBA year to get them to a play-in.

  9. Not having Ant the last few games shows how much he does for the team, but my opinion the biggest problem… we let NAW leave. Constant energy off the bench, top notch defender, not such a drop off when Jaden needs a rest or is in foul trouble. Nickeil did way more for the team than he got credit for, someone had to leave but they chose wrong

  10. TSJ hasn’t looked good at all he’s been looking lost and OC out there and naz hasn’t looked good either I like bones him and rob are gonna be a nice combo

  11. Rudy is washed, Mike's legs are cooked, Finch doesn't know how to develop rookies not named Anthony Edwards and we have the worst defense in the league. Season is over. Might Aswell pad players stats while ant is out and package them for a Elite point guard.

  12. Timberwolves testing my patience so hard. We cant look this bad against the hospital Lakers just because Clark and Edwards are out. Before the season I thought we'd be a 6-4 seed but now we look like we can lose against G-League teams. If we are going to be bad then at least give guys like Rob and Joan more minutes because they look promising. I wont give up until we are like 20 games into the season but things look very bad at the moment

  13. They're horrible right now. They have 4 centers on the roster. This team is maybe a 35-win team if Ant stays healthy and they keep this roster rotation. It's just dumb, lazy play. And most of the players were on a top-shelf D for the last 3 years. So it's effort. They're lazy. They only play when they feel inspired, and they clearly just expect to get to the WCF again. A few more embarrassments will wake them up. Or it won't.

  14. All of the stuff about a Reid/Randle front court was equally true last year and it wasn’t THIS bad. What has changed to make it so much worse?

  15. We’ve gotten steadily worse the last 2 seasons, despite Ant improving. Losing NAW is big, as well as Conley to old age.

  16. i swear i dont wanna hear anything about trash ass gobert. wemby out there grabbing like 15 rebounds a game and trash ass gobert has only gone over 10 in one game

  17. One of the issues with Rudy is that when teammates aren’t defending he overextends himself to cover and get out of position.

  18. Guys we need to relax, if we can see this Tim Connelly definitely sees it, this start to the season is forcing Tim’s hand and I trust him to make some trades

  19. Soo many ppl couldnt see this coming.. wheres all you fools that said 'wolves are finne finch is a great coach? Show yourselves you cowards 😂

  20. Just blow the team up and rebuild at this point. There's too many weaknesses and everyone on the team is a part of the problem. Keep Ant and forget about everyone else. They're not going to have too many seasons left before he hits his prime and goes somewhere else just like KG if Minnesota can't make something happen.

  21. Yikes, these comments are super reactionary. Jaden got some shade thrown at him after the Denver game but he’s fighting his ass off. I trust Ant and Jaden to get this team somewhere.

  22. Going all in on the Gobert trade and sending out five 1st rounders a full 4 seasons before ANT entered his prime never made sense to me. The team should have slowly ratcheted up its ascension in concert with ANT's develoment -then hit the nitrous oxide and go all in during the 2026-2030 era during Ant's prime – rather than going all in prematurely, then having the car fall apart just as ANT enters his prime. Makes zero sense.

  23. Beringer. Play him. He can defend right now. Wolves just need to bite the bullet and let both Joan and Dilly play. Period.

  24. they've been practicing at the Y with the over 40's and then with the 14 year olds, they should pool some money together and get coaches

  25. I thought Criss Finch is such a a great defensive coach??? Hahahaha because he is a horrible offensive coach. He should be fired !!

  26. We have a flawed front court. Rudy is terrible offensively, great defensively. Randle is terrible defensively, great offensively. It offsets any advantage and becomes a liability.
