BREAKTHROUGH: Orlando Magic SNAP Four-Game Skid with DOMINANT Defensive Display

The Orlando Magic snapped their four-game skid with a dominant 123-107 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

At long last, they returned to their disruptive defensive identity to slow down the Hornets and control the game’s tempo. That enabled the Magic to set up their offense and get everyone involved as the offense overpowered the Hornets.

Paolo Banchero was key to all of this as the hub of activity. He nearly poured in a triple-double and facilitated the movement throughout the offense before closing the door in the fourth quarter.

The Magic are certainly back on the right track.

    Now we gotta rinse and repeat against Washington. Same level of control over the entirety of the game from start to finish.

    The Knicks game is the one I've got circled in my calender. All games from now until then should be building toward getting a win against a NY team who we should consider one of our main conference rivals (if we're as good as we think we should be.)

    Issac is very important defensively. He brings energy, basically all the things the magic need. Mosley has to start him. Harsh, but I think Gogas Minutes have to go down big time.

    Are they really one of the best offensive teams while starting 3 rookies? When I heard that, I was taking this game with a grain of salt. Good to get a road win though

    I can't eat to excited yet. The Hornets were playing with what 2 rookies in thier starting 5 and Ball doesn't really play defense.

    But this is a step in the right direction

    It starts with the defense, our calling card. Jonathan Isaac changes the whole game. The offense improvement can't be by sacrificing defense.
