Before the season some people speculated Cam might secure a starting spot. He has some useful skills but in no way can a player like him ever be a starter. His future is in a Nick Young type role off the bench

Brian Keefe is a piss poor HC. I don’t care what anybody says, we have to much talent to be getting blown out damn near every night. We got blown out all of last year and being young has nothing to do to do with it because Orlando started winning immediately with their young guys. The Wizards must have a 10 year rebuild plan. We are losing and getting blown out by playing these damn dinosaurs instead of the young talent that we have. Brian Keefe needs to be fired like yesterday so that we can hopefully get a coaching staff that can develop this talent.

Confused as to why AJ isn’t playing but I believe they’re playing the vets including kispert to move them eventually…AJ even said in one of his interviews that he will play wherever he’s needed but prefers the PG spot but they give him no minutes at all?? Also Riley reminds me of Kevin Martin

The Wizards don't have the personnel to compete with OKC or Orlando. Remember, Chet sat that game. As for Keyshawn, he's a physical player. The refs will simply get used to his play. He's not the first to experience this. Btw, Orlando is truly elite. Their starting to gel.
I think what's so frustrating about this season specifically is that everybody understands we have to tank for one more year, but, unlike the last two seasons, this year we can actually compete. If we play our most competitive lineups, these young wizards have already shown they can hang with just about anybody. They know, and we the fans know, that they can actually win ballgames. Point and case – milwaulkee, charlotte and philly games. All three of these games saw the wizards beating their opponents when we ran lineups that made sense and featured our promising young guys. But all three of those games were lost from nonsensical rotations and vets playing terrible. So like, WE KNOW we can win. But at the same time we're not supposed to be, so we just throw out these BS lineups and purposely sabotage ourselves. It's this weird purgatory we're stuck in. Front office probably content to follow their plan (which is a good one) but in the meantime it's brutal for us fans.

They are who we thought they were! Seriously…..There are gonna be ups and downs. This was a definitely a down game. They have been in 4 of the 5 games (somewhat). "Boogie Fever" has got to learn how NOT to foul. He has had 4 or more fouls in all 5 games.. (Keyshawn George). We just keep pushing….. Let's manage our expectations. We've had 4 pretty good games, even though they were losses. AB you can not get frustrated 5 games in the season. We all know who we are.
Kyshawn has to play without fouling. I think Cam should have more minutes especially because Cory's shot isn't falling right now. The 20-30 point losses are tough but this is the process guys.

What we can see just from looking at the current roster is that 2.5 years into the winger era the wizards are not a competetive nba team. If you are OK with that you are a loser.
There is no point guard at all, and they don't have nba size. They have an overabundance of low draft picks.
The current clownocracy has repeatedly shown that they don't comprehend or value point guards. They failed to resign Kendrick Nunn, the current reigning euroleague mvp and champ. He will be joined this year in greece by another winger blunder, Richaun Holmes. They threw Jordan Goodwin into the Beal deal, apparently as a favor to Beal. Blunder. They waived Jared Butler, who should do as well as Nunn in the Euroleague. Nunn's Greek team can probably beat the Wizards, as should Butler's Serbian team. They waived Ryan Rollins for shoplifting, and now he is looking like a star in the NBA. He always looked like a PG, besides some off-court youthful stupidity. Leonsis says recently he'll never tank, and then he buys out Marcus Smart. Recently they could have signed Mac McClung, who just got 3 years with the Pacers.
The champion Celtics had 6 bigs and 3 point guards. The Wizards have 3 and 0.
Perhaps the greatest incompetence winger has shown isn't bigs or PGs. Its the failure to appreciate what you inherited. He had to have all new people. Really arrogant. Avdija is about to be an allstar. Kyshawn George might be comparable in a few years. One has to wonder where he'll be playing. If you don't appreciate what you have when you take over, will you ever appreciate what you have and what is available? Apparently not. Quite apparently.
Other winger blunders; Jay Huff, Brogdon, Patrick Baldwin, Landry Shamet, Tyus Jones.
I approved of moving Beal, as does history. Sarr recently looks like a solid #2 pick. But there's a lot more bad news than good.

Im a bit of an outside perspective as a kings fan that lives in DC and likes the wizards but i think a massive issue on this roster is size. Marvin bagley is NOT a center and the interior d suffers whenever hes on the floor. And as talented as Sarr is, theres not enough bulk in the starting front court to stop a trio like paolo, franz, and carter

PG: Tre Johnson secondary ball handler SG: George but he’s the primary ball handler SF: BC but he only can bring the ball up past half court after a loose ball or rebound PF: Bagley until we get Boozer to help with Sarr’s physically weak body at least he has some bulk and can score and rebound at a decent clip C: Sarr helps makeup for Bagley’s near nonexistent defense

Wizards need to start Will Riley at PG. Put Riley, Tre Johnson, Bilal Coulibaly, Kyshawn George, Alex Sarr together. Its OBVIOUS that's their best lineup what are they waiting for!?!?

Wiz need a superstar. We are building a team full of role players. Good role players that you need. But we need a star and for DC that will mean we will need to draft one as they wont sign here.
What nba team has a worse roster than ours? Maybe nets or jazz? It will be another long year. This year about continued growth from young guys and hope ping pong balls fall are way at end of year and can try get a top 3 pick
