I disagree. zion is one of the most efficient scorers ever when he wants to be. huuuuuge emphasis on that last part. If you've watched any of the PPT or locked on pels podcasts they will tell you with WG the team is almost always at a coaching disadvantage, and you saw it a few nights ago against the celtics. the zion/willie relationship hasn't grown over the past years because of injuries, trades, and lack of direction, and it really has left a bad taste in the org thanks to david griffin. people will point out the problems with the roster and while they are valid, the entire team has been lost only 4 games into the season, and that's a huge factor into these losses. also WG has historically been disasterous in 3rd quarters and is notorious for never producing 4th quarter comebacks. sorry about the rant but always appreciate the pels content james
Zion can do two things really well — Drive to the basket and Get Hurt …and he’s better at the latter.

I think it’s coaching. Trey and Zion are 2 of the most efficient scorers in the league. Why is the ball not touching their hands every possession. Trey needs different sets to get open. Use Zion as screener and cutter more. This team is dynamic just bad coaching

I’ve been saying it for the past 4 years, this team will not win anything if Zion is the best player on the team. You have to get a Superstar like Durant that can carry a team and Zion is a second option🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
I agree that Zion should be traded, but not because of the reasons you gave. Zion is still a generational talent. The reason he should be traded is because the Pelicans are a dysfunctional organization. Trey and Herb should also be traded. These guys are too good to be in an organization that can't hire a good coach, can't make proper trades and can't create a proper identity and system to maximize it's players.

Coaching change the young and new players on our team look great
I think they were hoping he would come out looking good , get 🔥 and stay HEALTHY. He had lost the weight, looked decent in exhibition/ Preseason. It was a big gamble, and they lost HUGE (so far).
For me the problem is, if we trade him now, what are we really gonna get. Teams know we have had enough. They gonna/prolly did low ball us. Joe D. was literally praying this year would be different, and it's not. As long as Joe don't make same mistake as last gm. He must Believe what he sees , and what history tells us (7th yr.) , he is consistently not consistent. Yes he's flashed, when healthy. But he goes cold at the worst times (FTR: That Draft really ended up sucking. Other top option was Ja, honestly was there a right pick, go look) If we trade we just can't get fleeced. Idk the right solution….. But Willie def gotta go, we gave him more than a fair shake. It's Gail being loyal, but to a fault. New coach needs to happen and Joe gotta finishing cleaning house. 2 left ( Zion and Willie G.) In NBA , New HC and more early 1st Rd. Picks could really transform us, very fast. They Not like the Saints situation. Pels in a hard conference and prob best division in the West. Can't be pretty good , gotta be very good to great. As far as your comments on the players, I do think they have no confidence going into 4th, once other team makes run, the fold like a chair. Just my opinion, I believe faith in head Coach, has something to do with it. We have really good young players. Am I way off here? Open to hearing any criticism. Let me know…… ✌🏼

The team won't win until Zion starts expanding his offense. He has to take advantage of teams just sitting in the paint. Even Giannis takes those shots. I don't think it's smart to move your only all-star caliber player
