Look. It is bad losing to the Pelicans. But Kidd finally did what everyone in the world wanted him to do: start a PG and let Cooper play off ball. Coop scored 20 points. DLO did not have a great game (that surprised me). But thats what happens when Kidd spend the first 7 games playing point forward, point center, and point whatever. I think Kidd need to keep the PG line up and seeing if gelling is what needs to happen. Even not so good teams in professional sports can beat solid teams in confusion on a given night. Some people say fire Nico. I don't think Nico is going anywhere. Kidd may be the one on the hot seat. Maybe so. Dallas may need another coach to see about bringing better results.

Nico should be gone. However what fans & media don't know the Adelson family lied to Cuban. They wanted to build casinos in Texas. They were told no, so the Adelson family & Patrick Dumont decided to punish Mavericks fans & City of Dallas by trading the franchise player in Doncic so snap back for not getting the casinos.

This is exactly the spot, where Mavs would be for the past 7 years if they didn't get Luka in that trade.
He was glue that kept the franchise together.
For 5 seasons they made him play with Powell as a starter.
And still he dragged them to wcf. The first season they made a move for a legit 7 footer in DLive they made it to the finals.
Finally the team had balance on all positions. Luka&Kai, DLive&Gaff, PJ&Maxi, Klay, Spence, Quentin, Naji, Hardy, even OMax was showing great growth.
That was a deep deep team. And with Luka back after his first major injury they would go deep into the playoffs if not win it all since the team only got better from their last trip to the finals.
But somehow Nico made "The trade"
Fans don't deserve this, because the still love Luka. But at the same time it feels great knowing this backfired on Nico like it did. And it's still an ongoing process 😁
