Shouldn't Walker Kessler's nickname be Ranger?
Ja wants to play however he wants whether its good for the team. You can't win with that. Worst he doesn't make anyone better. Trade him for whatever you can. Yet this team killer, kill another team. Always hurt. Can't shoot. Thinks he can shoot. Not a very good passer. Worst he's the team number one guy. No wonder they can't win.
The Jazz beat Boston. So what Boston isn't any better than the Jazz. The Jazz probably have a better roster right now. I bet the Jazz in the game because the game was a wash. Both aren't good. I take a bad young team over a bad older team. Boston still thinks they can hit 3s. They can't. 53 the other night and made 11. Grats on defending yourself Boston.
Zion hurt who had game 7 in the pool! Amazing he wasn't hurt before this. The man is made of glass. Why they signed him I don't know. He's never proved he's a winner or can stay on the court. Talent in street clothes has never won game in the NBA. If it did the Pelicans would have won 3 titles since he been there because he pretty much never plays.
tim bontemps i love you but you will never say anything good about fox lol.
We need this show live honstly and like 30 min more love my men MacMahon
Ja, like many younger people today, really struggles with personal accountability.
How is it possible that the Bulls and Giddey weren't mentioned in this pod??
What happened to y’all clippers
Lakers defended Jokic like this last year when they were without a center- Great Results-
worst podcast in sports. how is bontemps still employed
this and startalk, best pods only ones i care about
MacMahon loves Zion lol
I trade Ja to the Lakers for Lebron straight up 👌
Surprising jazz? 😂 walker Kessler out for year, SURPRISEEEE
where is the apology from MacMahon for his arrogant dismissal of Bontemps re the Raptors? They just beat the cavs in Cleveland and smashed the Bucks
Sit Ja at the end of the bench and let him stay there for a while. Call his bluff, the most important thing to a player is playing time.
We……..
Whimby going for 40 no way he has 2 bad games in a row
Macmahon different on that new mic 😂
Ja has not had much joy since the summer of 2022 when the Memphis incidents occurred, including the incident with the young kid that turned into a lawsuit, the mall shoe store situation involving his Mom, etc. As for Chris Herrington, Ja had already been asked a similar question previously. Also, I think it was the judgmental, parental tone & not the question itself that bristled Ja. But, it was always asking way too much to put a struggling franchise on the back of a 19 year old Ja Morant who has been transparent about his mental health & who, I truly believe, would be happier (& whose talent is more consistent) as the #2/#3 on a team. Less pressure. Ofc, back in 2021-2022, the world proclaimed him as some kind of a generational talent, & Nike have him a show. And, now, not being the nearly exclusive focal point of the offense feels to him like a grievous rejection, so I'm not sure he can truly ever buy into a secondary/tertiary role. And, unfortunately, truly don't believe he can be the best/#1 player on a championship/high level contending team. He was elite back in the 2021-2022, but, now, teams have figured him out while he really hasn't meaningfully grown/developed his game. It's not clear how the Grizzlies & Ja move on from each other… if at all.
Fans in Utah!
Ja had every chance and motivation to becoming more serious and mature, and he has taken zero progress. Even Zion lost weight this summer
A correction about road wins — OKC also has 4 road wins, with the Lakers. Could well be 5 after tonight
I am a Utah Jazz fan and watching Keyonte George this year has been awesome. He looks great!
People are acting like Wemby is going to play like this forever.. once Fox comes back and gets some decent role players/3&D he will produce down low as he should.
Once those quick guards/defensive wings start picking him off at half court thats when hell stop with his AND1 handling and go back down low 😂😂😂
Really like the show, no big egos going crazy , just simple, intelligent perspectives on hoops. I just wish the game was the 90's and early 2000 when basketball wasn't some weird marketing pageant. I can't even watch it anymore. Keep it up fellas!
Ja is demonstrating splitting it is just a juvenile and immature approach to authority and it's fairly clear he has borderline personality disorder or at the very least oppositional defiant disorder, yes, these are clinical ways to describe the way a very immature person deals with authority and other people and even in professional circumstances
The way bontemps and McMahon talk about Morant is disgusting. Pls stop. Move on. It's not objective. Bontemps is an absolute tool omg..
They love talking about the cavs. They aren’t going anywhere. Boring
Thunder in 5…
In the Suns games, it helps when officiating is poor. No doubt the Spurs sent tape to the league office to look at b/c Stephon Castle couldn't play his defense.
Prediction: Wemby has 40+ points and 15+ rebounds and 5+ blocks.
Spurs weak link is their wussy head coach Mitch Johnson. He proved OVER SIX MONTHS last season that he was in way over his head. This season, to make up for Mitch's incompetency. the SFO has surrounded him with some excellent asst coaches starting with Sean Sweeney who they stole from the Mavs. I expect him to replace Mitch next season.
T Mac did not watch that Spurs-Suns game and went right off the box score. What a maroon!
These guys are the best at,"If you stay petty, you ain't got to get petty.". It's a skill they all have mastered and the parries are Olympic-level. Best chemistry in the game.
Rockets scare the mess out of me. Ime is going to correct every misstep being seen now is going to be fixed by Christmas. Lakers and Warriors are the only teams that look like that. There is a coach who is going to call Ja and have the man to man conversation,"I can help you, you can help our team. Are you a man or a meme?". I don't know who that is but I know they exist.
I really think young guys are paying attention to how talented players have failed, out the NBA, having to learn Mandarin…they are focused on basketball I.Q. and being good in their realistic rolls.
Is Ja “still good in the West?” 😂
