  1. its definitely a playoff team. Holiday makes a huge difference. Avdija is borderline Allstar level with efficiency of the best in the league. and JG is in such a great shape. when he doesn't need to do staff he shouldn't is so efficient. there is also big development by DC and TC becoming also a 3pt threat. Its a playoff team

  2. I truly believe the refs called the foul to spite the Blazer crowd. They were chanting 'refs U suck' through out the game

  3. I really want Deni to develop a midrange game, he is already a force but the lack of in between game hurts him especially his facilitating because he gets stuck and it causes him allot of turnovers. If he develops a floater he would be close to unstoppable. Obviously it would be hard for him to do that and because this team competes he doesn't really have opportunity to experiment with his shot selection, but I think he has a solid shooting touch so it's possible for him to do that.

  4. One thing I noticed watching the game you haven't touched on that can be a problem, when Grant was running offense at half court he got in trouble everytime and had 3 TOs, 2nd team needs Wesley back.
Other than that Grant was the only one making buckets under the crowded rim such a big change from him this season.

  5. I remember how fans received the news that Grant stayed, that Holiday arrived and that Hansen was drafted. Eight games later, Holiday is the responsible adult, if it weren't for Grant, Portland wouldn't have five wins, and Avdia is currently an All-Star potential. On the other hand, Hansen can't find himself, they're still waiting for Sharpe to explode, and Klingan is a player without an offensive game. And that's pretty bad.

In Close games, whenever you have defense or not the team fights. ' There is also a coach with European tactics (which is very unadventurous) and in addition, he does not put a player above the team. For him, everyone who fought did an excellent job. And the bottom line, except for Utah, all the other teams are legitimate playoff contenders. On the other hand, the loss against the Lakers only emphasizes that the team needs to understand that in games where it supposedly comes in as a favorite, it needs to think as if it is the underdog.

  6. It's so great having Rob back. Having him available in those situations where you need a big defensive presence, like at the end of the game, is huge.

  7. Y'all did good. To be fair we were coming off a Terrible back to back and we had chet, dort, jdub, Caruso out.
    We started 2 3rd stringers.

Also super proud of y'all's ability to steal the ball and play with pace.

  8. got bailed out on an obvious final second aaron gordon foul but screwed by a not so obvious Joe foul

  9. OKC might be the “Best in the West”, but the Blazers are the “Pest in the West”

  10. As a California fan I knew the Blazers were capable or this. I guess 🐜 said it first game though, "no more free wins in Portland"

  11. 4th segment: Intensity so how can we achieve it.
    1. Intensity leads to injuries. Jrue isn't going to play 82 games, he never did and playing now 30ish minutes a game which he didn't do for a while and not in this intensity. One of the best 6th men in the league, Jeremy, isn't getting younger either.
    2. 3/4 rotation players will be available in new year/all-star break.
    3. New ownership will need to do some management/players moves around the deadline.
    4. All is leading to an assumption that the team will be different, very different, after the deadline/all-star break.
    5. This intensity has a price but it's good for current management, coaching staff, and players (increasing valuation of bench players)

  12. Dude. Deni literally proved he a star in thus game. 26/10/9 with 15/16 FF. You really understated how good was he. He was horrible from the field but he still found a way to influence the game in a positive way without decimating the offense. How many players can do that??

  13. It was a game made special by the guys playing with passion and unrelenting determination, and the great Jrue Holiday keeping their heads together until the very end.
