Our rebounds and turnovers need to improve
Spurs is not the right team for this man. Spurs is testing Wemby to unreasonable test only to say they have no funds to support Wemby in longterm. Wemby should go into big market like GSW.
Just keep hooping, man. This defensive coverage you’re getting rn is the result of all the hard work you’ve put in the past. They won’t cover you like this if they know you’re a scrub. Just keep learning and evolving. I trust that you and the team will figure it out eventually.
I feel like him not shooting 3s at all is backfiring rn. Teams now know he won’t shoot the 3-ball so they’ll just all double-triple team him on the paint and clog the passing lanes also. It seems like his game has become more predictable and this was bec of the lack of 3-ball. That’s why I was okay with him shooting at least 5 3pt-jumpers so that there is more versatility in his game.
Can’t wait for Kornet to get better again bec now that he’s out, the same problem that plague the Spurs for 2 seasons is back and that is everytime Wemby sits, there’s no interior defense to at least not make the paint a free lay-up or dunk zone. Bismack is not it. Kelly is also not it.
Wemby….you are not the Dream, you are not Garrnet, YOU, are the alien. Different, unique, a freaking live video game young man, play your game!! Incorporating what you've learned from those two legends with your skill set…..it will come in time young man. GSG!
I know what the Spurs are doing. They're experimenting while the season is early. They need to build a deep team. Victor is learning to play with his teammates.

One thing I’ve also noticed with this Spurs team, once Wemby gets double or triple-teamed, other than Castle and Harper, no one is really moving off-ball. Everyone else kinda like just stands there. That’s why often times, the opponent’s defensive focus just remains on Wemby bec no one is really taking that attention away from him, especially now that Harper is injured. It’s just Steph Castle and they know he’s a non-shooter also so they’re not really worried about him outside the paint.
The referees were horrible again… it's crazy that in the "best basketball league in the world", we have the worst referees in the world…

That Marcus Smart play, I felt like he could easily have stepped around him for the dunk. The ref would’ve no choice but to call a block.

When the whole league had to adjust because they know you will dominate, that’s when you know he’ll become one of the greatest.
some breakaways I think, If wemby just trails righ tbehind stephon, and splits the defends, youll have one guy on the left and one guy on the right. you pick which ones smaller, throw the ball up/behind on whichever side is smaller, and with vic height and momentum it's over. passing the ball around, waiting, behind double teamed getting pushed around is looking hard for our offense. D. Fox middies are coming though…. I was thinkin' you wanna have a big out there at all times, so im not sure why vic/kelly were on the bench at the same time…. damn though, close game, little details, TO's, FTA, really woulda pushed this into OT or a W. I think opponents are also playing harder/faster just because its the spurs, which is a tougher season than what other teams feel. This will create faster growth and smoother transitions from reg to playoffs I think… I really hope spurs make it this year. 3 guys coming back from injury too, gotta get em quickly acclimated

Something seems to be wrong somewhere with this great guy called Wemby.
Wemby is gonna be alright. Just a few minor adjustments playstyle wise, and the points will go up. Just stay disciplined and focused
suns defensive game plan was to throw doubles immediately at wemby as soon as he got the ball. So now we scheme on cutters, screens and ball rotation when that happens. Lakers game plan was to draw a charge anytime wemby got the ball and made a move to the hoop. Now wemby can learn to make them pay, if their hands are down taking a charge, that's an uncontested floater, stop and pop. Seeing all these things this early are huge to learn from, especially when everyone is healthy. At a certain point, there isn't going to be much you can throw at him he hasn't seen before. Keep grinding Spurs, so many more wins in our future.

I seen all the scratches on Wemby's arms after the game. There should be a fingernail lenght requirement for the NBA. An inspection before each game to make sure players don't get scratches. Hacka Wemby or Hacka Vick is Bull$hit!!!!
