VINDICATED: The criticisms Paolo Banchero, Wendell Carter and the Orlando Magic are DISPROVING
Almost the entire NBA world has been overreacting to the Orlando Magic’s early-season struggles. The team appears to be coming out of the early-season slump, and several key players are putting to rest some early criticisms they had faced.
Paolo Banchero is often criticized for his efficiency and shot selection. But in the last four games, he has been a terror with his career-best true shooting percentage and efficiency numbers.
Similarly, Wendell Carter is not considered a strong defensive big. But the numbers show Carter’s defense has been stout and his offense has come around.
The Magic are indeed starting to come together.

Don't change the plot😂😂
The first game against the Hawks should have been a blowout in the Magic's favor. They looked dominant bit kept shooting themselves in the foot letting the Hawks hang around and eventually win. I expect better results… Especially with Young out.

The talking heads hate that he gets 10 points a night on free throws. Hate his bulldozer style of play. I will take that every game with 7 to 10 made shots per game. The rebounds this year, as well as his blocks, show improvement across his game.
the game plan should be to get it to Paulo on the block and let him bully teams into double teams when he will pass to a cutting Franz or Jalen or pass out to Bane for open spot up threes. every half court set up should look like that, then strip and run on defense. they forget the playbook sometimes.
This fan base likes to hate its own players for some reason. Last week i saw multiple people calling to trade Paolo. 1 "magic fan" went as far as to say he hopes Paolo doesnt make all nba but Franz does. Why not both?
Not very wise to make such arguments after beating the Wizards. Because we will eventually play an average team like the Hawks…where we will prove how horrible we are….
