I say you hold out and wait and see if your Detroit. Lauri is a selling point but if that's the archetype or market why buy if not sure about a championship window even in a down year because of injuries? Again Lauri is a selling point but id even look at Johnathan Issac to double down on defense at a cheaper price

As a pistons fan, I don’t believe this year is the time to make a drastic move and go for it all. Keep developing the young players and in roughly 2 years we should push all the chips into the middle to truly try and win a chip

We don’t need to trade for anyone right now. Cade, Duren and Thompson are our core, let them figure out how to win and how to truly become great. Let them continue to grow and develop, if the Pistons want to capture a title one day it’s going to have to be because of those 3 guys, similarly to the way okc developed Shai, Jdub and Chet. I’m not comparing the players directly but I think we have enough, these guys were in the playoffs for the first time last year and they played pretty well, let them make it back there and gain that experience. I think the worst thing we could do is trade a bunch of assets or young guys for some player we think is going to save us.

None of our young players have remotely peaked yet. Cade is Cade, he’s a superstar in the making but there’s so much room for improvement in his game. Duren, Ausar, Ron and even Stew have all taken leaps this year offensively. And we still don’t know how they’ll look with Ivey back. I say focus on developing the core and see what you have. They’re a good young team with a true defensive identity. No need to make a splash move yet. If Beasley doesn’t get cleared I’d still like to see them add at least one other legit 3P marksman outside of Duncan because the shooting is horrendous, even though they’re finding other ways to score for the time being. Long term I think it’ll be a problem. But apart from that I’m loving what I’m seeing out of this team after nearly two decades of having no direction.

Cades numbers are “ordinary” ?? His PPG aren’t super high yet but he’s dropped 30 in consecutive games and leads the league in 4th qtr PPG. Not to mention averaging 10 assists. Stfu Windy
