Media team why delete my comments? The rookies and young guys played 7 minutes and outscored the guys that played 16,18,19 minutes this is fact. These guys are young, healthy, and use to playing 30 minutes a game or all game. It makes no sense to them why the coach got them in the dog house when they are down 30. Pelicans losing by 30 so much they took dubbed to a new level. I don’t even have a word for losing by 30!
Losing by 30 is bad on TV. It’s worse in person. That’s a fact.
We draft guys with the (Fears) 7th, 13th (Queen), 14th picks. (Hawkins) & they get 26 minutes, 7 minutes, and 7 minutes. That’s a FACT! We draft ed these guys not to play them? Not to develop them? We’re losing by 30 anyway, why are they not playing more to give us some SPARK if the starters are down 15-20 in the first place? Zion playing 28 minutes in the best shape of his career (recovering bone contusion)? Jordan Poole 2-11 with 11 points. Very sorry he never gets the foul call on his 3s. But yo like when you look at the bench vs OKC bench it’s like… yea Willie must be stubborn as hell if he still telling guys minutes are earned and all that. That’s got his ass almost GONE. Great assistant, leader, person, but strategist as a Head Coach? High pick and roll, pass around and chuck 3s, and Zion bully ball. I mean study OKC-they had so many open 3s tonight you woulda thought it was a MAGIC TRICK! I would have the team playing on concrete courts in the sun… all this air conditioned gym with hardwood floors making our team soft. At this point all teams that were lowly like us have surpassed us: Trailblazers, Thunder, Rockets, Grizzlies…. Only one or two that haven’t is the hornets and the wizards?
