Bulls Bench Shows Up Big But 4th Quarter Meltdown Dooms Bulls To First Losing Streak Of Season
The Chicago Bulls squandered a 19-point lead in a crushing 128-122 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, exposing critical execution flaws and questionable coaching decisions. Host Haize breaks down Billy Donovan’s puzzling choice to bench red-hot Jalen Smith (18 points, 11 rebounds, plus-17) in favor of struggling Nikola Vucevic during crunch time, despite Smith’s perfect 6-for-6 shooting performance. The Bulls’ bench exploded for 58 points—led by Jaylen Johnson’s flawless outing and strong contributions from Patrick Williams, Kevin Huerter, and Ayo Dosunmu—yet late-game mismanagement and Josh Giddey’s ankle injury derailed Chicago’s momentum. Matas Buzelis struggled significantly, while the absence of Coby White became glaringly apparent in critical fourth-quarter possessions. With the Bulls now 6-3 and facing their first losing streak of the season, this analysis reveals what went wrong and what must change as they prepare for upcoming matchups against San Antonio, Detroit, and Utah. Tune in for an unfiltered breakdown of this winnable game that slipped away.

Forget about losing a big lead in the third. Those last couple of minutes were just disgusting.
Bulls will end up being the 9th seed .. 🗑️
Billy Donovan is Doug Collins 2.0 fire him and hire mike Malone trade vuch & MatASS & we win 50 + something Billy has never done he stops early offense no 3s
Giddey is a bad shooter. There's nothing special about Giddey. His game is unstable. The Bulls' 6-game winning streak is just a fluke, as can be seen from the Bulls' points against their opponents. They can't dominate, only luck has brought the Bulls their first 6 wins. The rest of the time, they're back to weak and helpless mode. Bad play and habits like this can't be carried into the playoffs.
🤦🏾♂️😡
Bulls still got a winning record of 6-3 hopefully they can go on another win streak. The season just started so they still have a lot of time to get the ship steered back in the right direction
You're not going to win many games on a consistent level if you can only count on 1 starter to consistently give you 15-20 points every game. Coby will help that but even then him and Giddey won't be enough. Vooch and Matas have to be better consistently.
Billy Donovan hurts the culture of the team by not playing hot hands
They’re not a top team. Getting better but still not there.
Deandre Jackson
Bulls will lose the next 2 games and fall right back down to 7th or 8th. Can't hold a damn lead and it's gonna be right back to same old crap as last year.
Bulls needed to attack the rim more down the stretch, Cavs put them in the bonus early in the 4th and the Bulls didn't capitalize on it. Tre Jones tried but he was the only one.
That second quarter was some excellent basketball.
Important to remember not all back to backs are created equal. Cavs having a back to back at home after Washington is a lot easier than the Bulls going back to back on the road against the Bucks. Losing sucks but it's not that bad when you look at the whole picture.
The start to the season was a fluke
Trust me guys!! The Bulls starts the game differently in this season but will have that same result from last year. As I said before this season starts, the Bulls will end 9 or 10 in the east, and will eventually face Miami in the play-in and will always lost. The cycle must not be broken!!😂😂😂
