I know that he did not intentionally try to hurt him and he is in the moment of the game, but the players need to be protected all of them . To me this is a flagrant foul, where you are kicked out of the game and there should be a suspension. This could make a such a bad injury.
Yeah, that's a flagrant. But why? It's not the playoffs, this isn't a decisive play, there's not legit reason to break this up, and Mitchell is all alone a fast break going up in the air. Either get there before he's going up for the foul, or don't make this play. I guarantee if Russ was on the other end of this, he would have words. And his career would probably be over.
