My guy Giannis has been putting up legendary numbers for the past fire years. He's disrespected by people counting him only 3rd place for best players in the league, but he keeps up with the best and shows us every year he deserves the respect. He's looking for his second chip, just like everyone else in the MVP race. How could you count Luka above a man with a ring, and the same high level play? Giannis has put up the same numbers as your favorite players, and he's shown he's got what it takes to go all the way with his dominate style of play. He's a force of nature on the court.
But in my honest opinion, the MVP race is a tight one, and its gonna come down to who is more consistent. We've seen what Joker can do, we've seen what Giannis can do, we've seen what Wemby can do, and we've seen what Luka can do. I think its too early to call it, and like Lou said. "Its gonna be a game by game basis" I think if Wemby keeps up what he has shown us (despite his recent game) he can be something we've honestly never seen before in this modern NBA (All respects to Wilt, Kareem, & Hakeem).
I guess somebody prefers rodents since getting rid of all the snakes.😮

He’s got two MVP’s in that time and I believe he’s had better seasons in that time than the ones that he actually won. He should arguably have three more. Most definitely at least one.
As for right now. Jokers playing beautiful of course. His stat line relays that. But he’s only averaging 22 points right now, even with everything else that still takes him out of that talk for me. And to put him over Giannis right now is laughable.
Him and SGA are putting up almost identical numbers except in rebounds where Giannis is crushing him. And FG% which Giannis is again crushing him with an unheard of 67% while getting 34 a game. SGA is shooting 52% while getting 34. Giannis is even shooting twice as good from three. Lol. 60% to 30%. The next closest person over 30 a game is Luka, he’s shooting 54%, 67% percent on 34 a game is not getting the credit it deserves in this talk. That ish is crazy if you ask me.
And I really like Wemby. But come on bruh. We ain’t there yet. He has the potential to maybe go down as top 5 all time. But he is not better than Giannis. Especially right now. Giannis is and has been the best NBA player for the last half a decade at least.
If he played for any big market team especially somewhere like New York or LA this wouldn’t be nowhere near this much of a debate and Giannis would most definitely have gotten one or two more MVPs.
