A better way to approach post game interviews with Coach Kerr is to ask him why he selected his starting 5? Also ask him, when he “found” a combination in the 3rd quarter, why did he not stay with that lineup? Why change what is working on the floor, and why does he stay with situations that does not work for extended time periods? Finally ask him why is he totally dependent on Steph Curry? Did he not learn anything from last year’s second round playoffs? What happened with the “clarity” that team management and players talked about last year? Why does he repeatedly go back to lineups that continue to fail and not use the team’s assets properly? Finally, did he notice that the production of Steph, Jimmy, and Draymond are also declining his year and it is not because of age and scheduling?
I close with a guarantee: The Warriors will not make the playin at the end of the season, and it doesn’t matter who is on the roster, under the direction of Steve Kerr. Why? Does he not know or understand that in all of professional sports, everything starts and ends with the head coach. No one but the head coach is responsible for 4 straight losses.
