Spurs fan here and so excited to see the Spurs hit their stride. Still no telling how far they can go this season. But gotta say that I'm impressed with NOP players. Queen and Fears are already impact players and I really enjoyed watching them play. Fears is "fear-less" out there. Murphy III shot the lights out yesterday. They still have Zion, Poole, and DJ Murray waiting to get back on the court. Looney looked good yesterday. They get everyone healthy and they'll start moving up the ladder in the West.
Fox buckets looks so smooth and effortless.
I knew things would be different when Fox returned. He was a Clutch Player of the Year and led the league in steals. Now he has Wemby having his back so Fox can even be more aggressive.
Mitch Johnson was a bad hire. He is winning not b/c he is competent but b/c he has a bunch of smart young men with high IG and the Spurs got "lucky" in the draft. Why do I say lucky? Because GMgr Brian Wright has proven that he needs no brainer draft picks to look good.
FYI: Spurs could have drafted the Pelicans Trey Murphy III and OKC's all star Jalen Williams.

The Spurs weak link is their head coach, which is why the SFO surrounded him with some excellent assistants, starting with lead assistant Sean Sweeney, formerly Jason Kidd's lead asst. I heard Sweeney is a defensive genius so he must be loving players like Wemby-Sochan-Castle-Fox-Harper-Bryant-Kornet. But why TF isn't limp Mitch playing Bryant who will be better than Bruce Bowen and Danny Green?

Carter Bryant on a rookie contract is the future 3&D wing. Vassell and his bloated $27mill contract is taking up his minutes. How stupid is it for Mitch to give DNP to Bryant in the Flakers (loss) and Rockets (win)? Bryant got SIX MINUTES vs the crappy Pelicans. Vassell needs to be traded in a deal that will bring a young PF who can shoot to replace Sochan b/c Fox's max extension greed makes keeping Sochan not feasible.
