The NEXT Big NBA Trade Is…

Lauri Markkanen could be traded from the Utah Jazz soon, as he if off to a great start this season, and the Jazz could look to capitalize on his high value – including the Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, and San Antonio Spurs.

  1. Perfect fit for the Spurs next to Wemby. He takes a lot of pressure off Wemby offensively and they won't get in each other's way. I think you give up Harper and go for it. If Harper ends up becoming a star down the line you are still OK with it since Wemby is ready right now while Harper is just coming off the bench.

  2. Lauri markkanen
-3 years removed from being an allstar
    $238 million dollar contract
    -3rd option ceiling
Yeah a rookie contract is more valuable on contenders

  3. As a philly fan, I would absolutely trade PG for a bag of doritos right now if it meant we could resign grimes. What an unbelievably awful contract

  4. Finnay I hear some logical discussion from this trade. Nice.. My opinion is that this was all designed when LM signed the contract. I think national media is putting twists on it that ust may not be there. and not to make this sound bad in any way.. but I think the plan was to Overpay LM for 5 years to keep him in here and content to go through this rebuild. since with all the young players this contract is really not that impactful for the jazz. and LM who is not the typical star in the NBA who is really about ego and titles. Sure he would like them but I think he choose to be in a place where He likes, and to get the extra money and raise his family for the next 4 years. than to go chasing a Ring. that said LM has to say that he wants to be in the playoffs. imagian the heat he would get and the team if he said naw I am good I just want the money and raise my family. that would be a nightmare siituation. So I think the plan the whole time was to give Lbig money now while the team can afford it. manager the draft picks to get some very good tallents and hopefully a start or two (ace hopefully and a high pick in 2026 draft) then have money for the 2026 off season when it looks like the 2027 draft may be much eaker and try to get another star with LM and ACE and their 2026 lotter pick then So let's say they draft top 3 in the 2027 draft, Booxer or AJ are picked. they develope Ace, Key and the other young players then they sign a max level player in the 36 off season let's say Tray young? or maybe fox? maybe someone arond a max level or whatever then they resign Walker that could be an amazing starting 5 with a good solid bench to get to the playoffs in 27 and build from there. I think the beleif is that LM as a sthooting big will age well . shooters tend to play better longer than back to the basket bigs for the most part so hypethotecially lm gets to spend some good years with his famiily in a place he likes and makes up for monty he maybe should have gotten sooner. Walker gets his pay we get a really good SG in the off season and draft a top prosect it just seems to fill out perfectly for a rebuilding team.. plus Magic/ thunder and somee teams may need to trade some really good players for draft picks and the jazz will be set for that opertunity then. just how I see it as a Jazz fan.

  5. Fck danny ainge tbh… he overpricing his players value lmao… lauri is only a 1 time all star to be valued that high. Cant lead a team also.

  6. I’m a big Pacers, and a new Lauri fan after watching him in euro basket. I kinda wonder if we could throw together a package and then run him at the 5? Our centre position is empty asf so it’s not like it could get worse, and I think him and siakam together with whatever wings we have left +tyrese coming back could be pretty sweet. We’re gonna have to make a decision on Mathurin or Nesmith as our 3 relatively soon so the deal could start with witch-ever one we don’t keep. Or does he hate the idea of playing 5?? I know some 4s refuse to swap spots but he’s pretty tall, and not a toothpick so I don’t see why he wouldn’t work.

  7. Utah absolutely would love golden states 27, 29, and 31 firsts… Curry likely retired by the time second one comes available. Kuminga top 2 2027, top 5 protected 29 and 31

  8. Lauri is a great player if traded to a team you like. He’s an inj prone, empty stats, no defense guy if traded to a team you hate.

  9. I don’t think Utah does any of these trades lol. Unless they get a big haul which other teams won’t do

  10. The Jazz have been playing well many times with Markkanen, but Ainge always pulls the rug under them by trading away all the good players.

  11. I honestly don’t know why the Jazz would consider trading Lauri before the next year’s draft, unless they are offered a godfather offer for him that you would expect for a top 10 player or if Lauri demands a trade, which I don’t see happening

  12. All those trades are atrociously bad for Utah. Only the Spurs make kind of sense IF they include Castle.

  13. As a lifelong pistons fan, I prefer not to trade away assets right now. Duren and Stewart are dominant rn, and still young. And all we need is like another 15-20ppg from somewhere, which Ivey can do in his sleep. Its like yeah Lauri Markenan is good, but he would give us a scorer, but take away from Stewart and Duren, which is a big negative with their growth this year.

  14. I know this is a long shot but what abt the Hornets? We need a 3pt shooting big man and a star. We could give up miles, TJ and a bunch of picks

  15. Is he upset or anything? He's playing REALLY well. Why would Utah give him up and not look at it like 'okay Power Forward is locked in, now let's look at the wing…' instead of 'move him and we'll get a good guard… but open a big hole at the Power Forward… so… why?

  16. Jaylen BROWN BREAKDOWN you're next video Sporting Logically 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

  17. Utah might trade him for picks and then just build around Keyonte and Kessler while continuing the tank for few more years.
