Cooper Flagg is gonna be great, he has the talent, skill, size, etc. to be a future Superstar! Dallas is gonna need some reliable veterans around to feed him knowledge, along with some actual decent roleplayers to keep some pressure off of the kid.. Dallas needs to understand what they want from him, and maybe give someone else the responsibility of signing and trading players from now on ๐

luka makes everyone better. he can make even mediocre players seem spectacular at times. and that became a big problem when luka was forced to leave. suddenly everyone was back to their real levels.
i think a ad for dearron fox centered deal could rly work out for both sides. mavs would need something else maybe a sochan? but the spurs have thrived without fox this season with the elite play of their young backcourt and letting them get minutes will only enhance their development. what can also enhance their development is pairing an elite power forward aside the most unstoppable interior force in basketball. ad and wemby is an absolute nightmare for opposing teams. and this works for dallas asw getting a much needed backcourt piece that can play alongside kyrie when heโs healthy and can allow flagg to play his natural position

Imagine a franchise with a GM that talks about "defense wins championships" expects a rookie to carry them. A rookie they never deserved in the first place. Even if AD+KI come back at 90%-100% they wont manage to win 35+ games this season. All the owners wanted was a fanbase no longer interested, so they can move the team to Las Vegas. They are doing pretty good at achieving that. I guess the teams i am a fan off will always struggle, i started beeing an Orlando fan when they drafted Penny. The Mavs became my 2nd love when they got Dirk, an easy pick if you come from the same region in Germany as he does. They lost my love when Luka was traded, at least Orlando is still a team to be excited about.

as a former life long mavs fan, im thankful for the days of the 2011 team. it was clearly some shady back room deal related to tv ratings, keeping lebitch happy. fuck the mavs. the only teams i care about anymore is the rangers and the stars.

Game just ended, Lakers vs Knicks(i think?) so after that all of us at home went to bed. I was in my room and just opened my twitter, first one was Sham's post which says Lakers and Mavs made the trade and its AD and Luka. I checked how long was its and i think its was like not even 30mins ago, in my mind "Smam's account got hacked?" and i ignored it. Scrolling through it, everyone is tweeting about it. It was when a player from NBA, i forgot who, made a tweet too saying there is no way this is real. This is when i tried checking in twitter and every doesnt believe it. I went to ESPN website to check the Lakers roster and over i see Luka, thats when i know it was official. Everyone at home, except my mom, was wide awake at that time lol

I bet those ridiculous tradesย like the luka one is probably something so simple… probably over a poker game between the owners. These billionairs view those athletes as property, and us… as ants. Think about it, i mean, the NBA is embroiledย right now with point shaving and bet rigging.
There is only one way to save the Mavs IMHO:
1. Adelsons sell the team. Maybe Cuban buys them back for pennies on the dollar lolz.
2. Hire Masai Ujiri to help rebuild the team.
3. Fire Nico Harrison
4. Fire Jason Kidd, hire Terry Stotts
5. Trade Anthony Davis to the Knicks. Rebuild some draft capital.
6. Trade Kyrie before the trade deadline to a team that wants to win it this year. Get more draft capital.
7. Rebuild quick around Cooper Flagg.
8. Apologize publicly to Luka Doncic, hang his jersey in the rafters.
If they do all this, the fans will forgive them and move on. And the fans come first. In 3-5 years, the team will be a contender again. Lively, Gafford, Washington, Marshall, they are all young. The core is still good.
AD that guy needs to retire. I have never seen no one stay hurt more in my life . Come in bigger than the centers . Wanting to play PF and couldn't position himself and you talking about Luka out of shape . That's the reason his legs hurting.

I was just about to go to sleep when that trade happened… couldn't sleep the whole night, so I was on my phone doom scrolling from YouTube to Twitter. It was about 7:30 a.m and I saw a tweet from Shams, it was about '3 minutes ago' so I refreshed twitter coz I couldn't believe it plus I don't even follow Shams on twitter, being a laker fan Then I went to see if any other news had posted it but to no avail. Then Shams tweeted again saying it wasn't a hack. I stayed up till 12 mid day, didn't sleep that day๐๐

Hearing Luka wants Gafford. If Gafford goes who plays Center? Davis and Lively are out much of the time. WE come full circle back to Powell. OMG. We cannot expect Irving to be 100% … ever again frankly. His game is not conducive to taking it easy. So no idea what we have when he can return. He is not young. couldn't believe anybody could be that stupid. then i got mad at CUBAN. he hired NICO on a whim and he sold the team to a crap owner completely forgetting that he owed to the fans to pass on "our" franchise to people smarter than larry, curly, and moe. i then did something i've never done. i became a lakers fan. my mavs are harp, blackmon, aguirre, davis , and motta busting it to keep up the the magic lakers for 40 minutes and then in 5 minutes or so, "showtime" rears it head and we get beat. i hated the lakers and only grudgingly learned to respect them. they were great but they weren't mavs. i can't fanthom somebody respresenting the MAVS, hired by some "idiot" who wears MFFL trading our "MAGIC" to the lakers. thats stupidity and not knowing anything about the franchise you were hired by to do what you've never done. it sucked then, it sucks now, and its gonna suck till i die. FIRE NICO, FIRE KIDD, FIRE DUMBONT! FIRE them all especially if u think it takes brains to build a franchise. and for that matter FIRE SILVER. that had to be rigged. "we ain't getting over it!"
