Looks like the loss in Denver was a lesson for the rest of the team to reiterate this stern warning from after the SAC loss:
"So Will Richard checks all those boxes. The whole team, the whole organization, recognizes this — which means everybody's on notice. Take care of the ball, because we've got people who will do that. And they're ready to step in."
"Sounds like a message to others on the team to step up, or others, such as Richard, will."

I can't be the only one noticing Quentin Post getter better and better. He seems to be showing new sides to what he can do every game. I wonder what it might be like if he started every game. For that matter, I was more okay with the loss to the Kings than the win over Phoenix…why? Will Richard. He makes his presence known every game no matter the minutes. I wonder what it might be like to see him start more. My impression from this game is that as the core ages, defensive intensity is a must. It seemed the Warriors would go cold with the shooting and it took concerted defense to get them back in….and this is a seriously depleted Pacers squad. As the offense is less devastating than before, defense has to be there to keep them in the game as the shots come and go. I think this is an important test for JK as he responds to a slump… can he remain composed and let the game come to him rather than press, try too hard and make a ton of turnovers as he has done in the past. Oh, "welcome to the party pal" as Al finally arrives with the threes and blocks we were hoping for.
buddy and kuminga are just not fit for this team man. like for what they are getting paid. its a mess. post/gui and richards should be taking buddys and kumingas minutes. hell kuminga shouldnt even be starting. the best starting 5 is curry, jimmy, draymond, post and moody….with richards and gui coming off the bench. also stop having draymond come down with the ball.
No. We beat a team we should have beaten. We be back on track when we beat some good teams.
