Everyone this offseason was hooting and hollering about Jovic being the guy this year. I just didn’t see it. I really hope he improves because he’s been bad. No extension should have been given in my opinion. This should have been a prove it year.
Edit: And like you said in the video, Ware makes one mistake and he’s benched. But Jovic coughs up the ball multiple times and he’s still hanging out.
Spo doesnt bench Ware for mistakes, he only benches him for his lack of effort and he repeatedly brings up wares +/- pretty regularly. Dude just starts the games with his motor on 0 like thats not gonna cut it . When JJJ or Larson comes in off the bench they are all gas. Larson is a foul machine and he forgives his mistakes because he's always on 100% effort. When JJJ had his slump last season, he was still getting minutes because of the effort.
Spo is doing to Ware what he did to Whiteside. Whiteside was never bad Spo just enjoyed watching Bam play bigger than his size so he started messing with his star player.
Jovic got the dog house treatment fron spo too year 1 Kyle Lowry spoke up on him that jovic looked lost on defense. Jovic was never seen again to the point he got skyforce minutes. But there is something you cant see or don't have the patience. Its why Jimmy Butler flew to his sky force games after his games, its what tobins, its what Elder Assassin sees.
Jovic will one day be force in the nba but he needs experience.
Jovic is playing a role, last year he was handling the ball and looked great before getting hurt. This year JJJ is handling the ball more we are playing to are strengths JJJ cant shoots 3 that well. Jovic is JJJ kickout. When Tyler comes back we will win alot of games. Jovic will show some flashes of the future but for the most part play his role.
