Denvers only real issue is 3's aren't falling outside Timmy and Gordon. As long as Jokic plays hard and puts up 18+ shots and 5 or less 3's they will be fine. Mal gets whatever criticism he gets and thats what comes with a contracts where you're overpaid by 10 to 15 million per year.

Are the excuses for Murray's poor play going to be endless again this season?
The problem with CB is that he is getting paid $25M a year now, and people are understandably going to be more critical of his performance. It's the same thing as with Jamal. They're all good players, but they are frequently underdelivering for the money. Payton Watson will be breathing down many necks before the end of this season. If his perimeter shot starts working, he could easily start over Christian in the playoffs.
I think it is safe to say that Aaron Gordon is officially the second-best player on the Nuggets.

I think they lose those leads to lazy early clock 3's. Game 7 Minnesota type 3's. Picket should play over Murray if Murray is to tired to drive to the hoop to create shots for others. Just lazy 3's. What happen to the deep bench coach. Picket/Strawther needs a few minutes every game I think.

And totally agree with Swipa, Braun is playing good except shooting mids and 3s. We need his defense, we need his transition game and we need his cutting ability. I just think he's trying too hard not to screw things up like Cam and he has no confidence in his shot. If I was him I'd go practice 3s with Gordon, and get a sports psychologist to help hin with his shooting confidence. That deal hasn't kicked in yet so the complaints aren't warranted, especially when he had a great stat line last game and had a career high in Assists which is a great sign he works in the offense. It took KCP till his 5th season to get above 35% from 3, Braun was above that his first season and was nearly 40% last year and it took KCP 9 years to get to that point.
