  1. How do you think Cam Thomas' hamstring injury could change the Nets? What is your hope for how Brooklyn approaches its rookies' development moving forward?

  2. And this is why it was absolutely IDIOTIC for him to turn down the 2 year contract the Nets offered.

Now team are going to think he has chronic hamstring issues on top of his defensive liability.

  3. Time will tell but I fear history will show its difficult to develop 5 rookies on a bad team, its easier to develop 1 rookie on a good team.

  4. Is the whole 'Thankyou for making me your first listen of the day' in the contract or something?
Because I know this comes out after 10pm in America, and even for me, it's 2pm in Australia…. soo, I just don't see why they would make you say that, when it's clearly not going to be anyone's first listen of the day. Unless ovcourse, this is the only thing they watch on YouTube.

  5. Playing time will not be a issue. As the season goes on injuries will solve the problem. It happens every season.

  6. The most alarming play was by Saraf, his inability to break down a defense or move through traffic. He seemed to lacked elementary instincts for NBA play

  7. I think if this is some long term 2 month type of injury his next game should be on another team. He has no future here and he's just chucking up shots and clogging up the court.

  8. as much as i love cam thomas and he wants to stay here as a net. he is better off on another team since he doesnt pass enough or play defense the way the team wants.

  9. Off topic, I've been consuming sports media for four plus decades. I even did part-time work in sports media for about 20 years. I used to listen to a lot of minor league baseball stuff and that's when you can really tell when someone's got "it." I successfully predicted Adam Amin would be a star when he called games for the Somerset Patriots; now calling playoff games on ESPN. I thought Ryan Ruocco had "it" early in his career and you see what he's doing. At the risk of sounding effusive, I think Slater's got "it." Sports media is so different today but I think he can really be a bright spot for this team's coverage for hopefully a long time.
