This Rodriguez dude sounds super dumb, and has a Spurs hate bias. How does Houston have a higher ceiling when the Spurs are missing an all- nba point guard, and 2nd overall pick, and their backup big in Luke Kornet. I wish I could downvote this 15 times so it never shows on my algorithm again.
He takes into consideration the Rockets are missing their point guard, but not that the Spurs are missing a better PG. I hate when people die on the hill of a stupid take.
This Houston team does not have a higher ceiling than this San Antonio team. They don't have an answer at PG on their roster. If they trade for one, then we can reassess. The Spurs have 3 options at PG that are better than anything Houston has, and they just won with 2 of them injured. And SA has now played 6 games without Kornet backing up Wemby. It's a HUGE deal to not have him. Have you seen the lineups trotted out there with Wemby on the bench? Just TRYING to buy time with front courts of Barnes/Sochan or Barnes/Olynyk. And that's just the last 2 games. Before it was Biyombo. Patchwork right now. Kornet is a beast on that 2nd team.
Rockets played like dog 💩 (outside of Reed) and still could have won.
That zone is KILLING us. It has a bunch of mid dudes looking like Steph. Durant's lazy passes didn't help.

In the 4th Wemby did better beating the zone with great passes to the cutters and they used their spacing pretty well with Champagnie and Barnes
Ya keep talking about Fox coming back, but you'll forget about Luke Cornette. He will be taking fouls away from Wemby. Just waite!!!

If we, Spurs, have a full roster vs any of the other 29 teams, I love our chances. Fox is a better #2 than most. Harper is a better bench player than most. Luke is the best backup center, bar none!!
