The NBA Wasn’t Ready for This Version of the Spurs
De’Aaron Fox is finally back for the San Antonio Spurs — and it just felt different straight away. The moment he stepped on the floor, everything about how they played changed. The offense looked organized again, the tempo made sense, and for the first time all season, it felt like they had a real closer. Paired with the seventh-best defense in the NBA and a legitimate MVP candidate in Victor Wembanyama, this addition of a true “go get a bucket in a pinch” scorer might be exactly what the Spurs needed to take that next leap…

Nice viddddd🎉❤❤🎉❤❤🎉
Good videos, you got my sub brother
Wemby and Fox make Kornet and Castle better by drawing the defensive attention
It's the exact same guy as the Hoops central guy lmao. Heavy use of AI, extremely repetitive titles and thumbnails. "tHe nBa AiNt rEAdY" on multiple videos. Again, as I said on your Hoops Central account. Just low effort AI slop
That’s fine. Defenses can send 2-3 smalls at Wemby. Just pass over it like Duncan would every time he got a double or triple team.
Defenses can’t move as fast as the ball and at Wemby’s height he can see over and pass over any defender.
The difference is that this Spurs team has Vassel, Castle, Harper, Champ, KJ and Barnes that can all hit open shots or drive to the basket.
Wemby is still learning. He just has to watch a lot of Tim Duncan’s old film showing how TD consistently beat double and triple teams at the low block and at the free throw line.
If Castle can get his turnovers down (which is slowly doing now) that 3 guard rotation of Fox, Harper and Castle might be one of the best ever, that is scary.
As a Hawks fan I’m torn. The Spurs have terrorized my team for years. And we were just beating them for the last few years. And now, well, yeah, we have to deal with this beautiful basketball now. And I’m here for it! Let’s go Hawks! But I can’t help but be a fan of Wemby.
Delusional Warriors fans think they can win both games against the SPURS this week with their small ball team. 😂
Fox is the underrated player in the league.
First Time I see kornet looks tiny 😂
It's crazy how Wemby needs a triple team to be stopped. Even Duncan didn't command triple teams to be stopped. As a Spurs fan for 30 years now, Wemby is special like Duncan. Wemby, Fox, and Castle is the reincarnation of Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili. Those guys were elite because of their basketball IQ. They were very vocal. Our guys need to be more vocal on the defensive end.
If opponent find a way to shut down both Fox and Wemby is pretty much game over for Spurs.
