I agree completely with your thoughts on AK, but I'm not really seeing the "physicality."
It’s not about JG’s numbers as much as how he gets it while playing the right way. One of the biggest reasons he is flourishing is the players on the Bulls genuinely like each other.

If the Bulls end up with 2 FRPs and they resign Coby, Vuc and Ayo, I would trade the 2 picks and move up as far as possible to get either a future 3/4 or the future 5. I was reading up on some prospects for the draft and it seems like there might be a couple good opportunities in the late lottery. Lopez from Mexico (playing in NZ) is talked about as a really good 3/D wing. The other wing I think was Caleb Wilson. I know we have Essengue, but I feel like he has such a long way to go.

AK appears to have accomplished a complete rebuild without missing the Play-In … and as a result this roster is a talented young group that has played a lot of NBA games and in meaningful games.
This team so far reminds me of the NBA version of Rick Patino's Kentucky teams in the 90s. A collection of decent to really good players balling out as a team! No one person has to score 30 plus a night like the Jordan years. I would like to see another true center on this roster, but so far so good 👍👍
