For sure when you guys are analyzing You have to give the context. All of Detroit are happy with his 45 shots. Missing 3 starters, 3 key role players, playing with their 2-way players which are dogs themselves. Cade take as many as needed in moments like this because it shows the fight in him. Also, everybody dismissing the 5 steals and 12 rebounds come on
Cade doesn't normally shoot that much. Last night the Pistons were without Ivey, Harris, Stewart, Sasser, Thompson, and LeVert on the 2nd night of a back to back. Cade was like: "I'm taking those shots." You can tell Lou doesn't watch the Pistons yet.
8 man rotation , back to back , doubled all night , and was injured in the 4th. He has that Mamba Mentality. Bruh just wanna win.
Mike Jordan… On three occasions, took over 40 shots to only score in the 40s. AND, I DON'T RECALL ANY…BODY COMPLAINING!!!
Um it was 2nd of back to back five starters were out lets not act like it was a full roster and cade threw up 46 shots. And alot of the shots were in and out lay ups.
That’s the thing with modern “journalists” ex NBA or not. People see the box score and run with a narrative without context. Cade essentially had to take those shots. Literally 3 starters are injured along with 3 significant roles players. What do you expect? It’s irresponsible to put out narratives without giving context.
Its ok, you can say its the most missed shots in a game since Kobe Bryant. You don't have to try to protect his greatness, we know how great he was.
So, Lou Williams has an interesting stat record. He has several games of shot totals in the 30s with point totals in the 30s. Guess he didn't "clean those se up". Looks like he wasn't allowed to shoot 40 times in a game.
Number one cade never shoot that many shots period second if all he's one the most unselfish player in the league plus it was eight players out so miss me with the bull on attempt because he barely ever shoots more than 20 to 25 shots attempt a game it was a back to back night and he did what he had to do is get the win keep the strike going and its Detroiiiit Basketballlllll against everyone 💯
Y’all don’t watch games which is cool because pistons ball don’t interest you, but at least have the data to understand why he shot the ball so many times. Our best scorers are out Ivey , Sasser , Ausar , Caris Levert , and Harris. You even missed our best interior defender in Stew who can also space the floor. That’s 6 crucial guys. We literally had to call up the G league team to play. Duncan Robison is a great shooter but he isn’t a on ball scorer . Even Ron holland isn’t a great shooter/ scorer. If anything you should be more impressed how the pistons as a team pulled this out and Cade did what he did was take over. He doesn’t even shoot the ball that much hes a pass first player

It was 1 game, 2nd of back to back, undermanned lineup too, he was gassed. He had an off night but still got the dub, this is just the soup of the day rn. Cade was actually playing above his pace at times, he was going for the 60 game but the rim wasn't having it! We solid though. Deeetroit Basssketballl!!!!!!!!
