I think Nico Harrison did a pretty good job, aside from trading away Luca Doncic, DFS, and Quentin Grimes. The franchise is just taking too much toll on the AD-Luca trade and the top brass needed someone as a scapegoat. Good thing y’all have Cooper Flagg to build around with, so all is not lost in Dallas.
This was done so everybody forgets Adam Silver made Nico trade Luka to boost ratings and in return got paid and got Coop
I love how ownership can always blame the GM when you sign off on everything. You saw what the fans saw and let him do it anyway. You traded for Anthony "Street Clothes" Davis😂😂😂 as a MAJOR piece of a Championship roaster…..Cooper get out fast!😂😂😂 The ownership didn't change he just bought it🤣🤣

Still think that Silver has a big hand in this and hoping that the investigations in the being scandal leads back to him. Whole not ideal, Dumont did apologize and now Nico is gone. Does this bring Luka back? No. If you love the game and the Mavs, time to show to and cheer the players on.

Flagg could be better than Luka eventually. At this age, it’s about potential. And lots of things can change. But they are wasting Flagg’s career and potential at this point instead of developing him. The diff roles will get him valuable experience? I don’t know. Yes, they are desperate but that was also the “defence” they had right? I think he has played enough before the NBA and also in the NBA to know he’s not a PG. And instead of guiding him in his rookie year, the team is depending on him. It seems that every day that passes, is a day less in getting him to become the great player he can be.
Funny how luka's name is not on players traded. Somehow AD's and max christie is on players acquired. Along with grimes but not on players traded. No one is going to randomly forget. Side note markieff was also traded with luka. Someone really rushed this list.

They can't tank they don't have draft their own draft picks.. Mediocrity for the next decade… Flagg is Ok but I don't see Superstar potential.

I said at the moment the trade happens, the mavs need to move to Vegas and take a new name so Dallas can get an expansion franchise with new ownership that’ll be called the mavericks similar to how the bobcats became the hornets. It’s the only way the fanbase can heal

Personally I agree with Stephen A Smith that the mavs are a good team. They are just unfortunate that Kyrie and AD are injured with Derek Lively. Firing Nico won’t solve the problem. Now what?

I’ve been saying Flagg was overhyped no1 picks aren’t as impressive how they used to be. Luka has been a pro since 16, he was never going to be better than Luka.

Who would want to trade for Anthony Davis with an insane contract and a brittle body!?! AD lost his value with the way he makes himself present, or lack of, with Dallas! Any team who wants AD at this point is crazy!
If I were the GM of Mavs, I'll only accept a franchise player in return for AD. If the right offer doesn't come, I'll put minute restriction on AD and load manage him until the season is over.

Why are people blaming the GM for a team losing? Obviously him trading Luka caused the team to be weaker but I also think that Jason Kidd isn't a very good coach, although a lot of basketball pundits seem to think he is.
The NBA rigged the trade to get Luka to the marquee franchise in LA. Then rigged the draft as compensation to Dallas. The NBA has no more integrity than professional wrestling.
