Even with Herro back, Norman Powell is the most important player – his defense is heads above Herro. Plus, he finishes around the basket better. Plus, he is a bigger player and more athletic.
There is no way Norman is getting benched. Stop.

call me crazy but the way jaquez plays in the paint and facilitates the ball is on par with & or better than butler was for at least the normal games we got from him. (obviously not comparing to the 25% of times where butler turns up)

Keon Ellis was one of my Top trade targets this offseason. Would be a perfect fit.
We still have some rebounding issues, but I think we have as good of a shot as anyone to come out of the East.
I'm still expecting for them to make few moves at the trade deadline.
As a Heat Lifer I am so happy to have mature, professional and talented adults like Wiggins and Powell in the 305 instead of that annoying, narcissistic prima donna that dresses like a clown on media day.
I wouldn't be surprised if Adam Silver pulled strings to get Norman Powell to Miami. They knew what was going to happen with Rozier and Pat Riley probably made some demands. If Dallas was gifted the first pick anything is possible.

Last few years been hell as a Heat fan. Definitely disappointed we couldn't get over he jump with Jimmy and hate how it ended. But enjoy how much entertaining they are finally to watch. I know we aren't contenders but its good finally have a fun team to watch again

Dru Smith has been the Heat's passion project for the past 5-6 years. As a Heat fan I never understood why he kept getting a roster spot, even after he tore his ACL TWICE, the Heat still stuck by him. He's 28 years old and this is literally the first time he's getting rotational minutes in his career, and he's FINALLY good. Clearly the organization saw something in him to keep giving him chances over and over, never giving up on him. THIS is why I'm a Heat fan. This is the ultimate development story.
This Heat team will jump another level once Herro comes back.
