Why are we all acting like it was Nico's call and not the owner? That's the part that I don't get.
It’s funny you guys mentioned both Kyrie and Garland in this video. If I’m the Cavs I’m maybe trying to see if a trade can be done to bring Ky back for Garland.
This show is almost unwatchable because of Bontemps interrupting and trying to talk louder than everyone.
Why does windy look like this affects him personally? He’s like upset that they aren’t making dramatic moves?
Bro you’re an NBA reporter, crazy headlines are great for business. Genuinely sounded like windy wanted for nothing to happen lmao
Macmahon is so dramatic. He loves the drama. He lives for it.
I think dumont literally didn’t realize Luka was the star of the team. That’s how clueless he was.
Bontemps is basing his opinions on a hell of a lot of questionable premieres. Reminds me a lot of Ben Shapiro. It’s more debating technics than convincing arguments or knowledge
Why Bomtemps always acting like everyone is arguing with him ? Lol
Why even have McMahon on if Botemps interrups and won't let him speak? Unbearable…
It can be good to have people on who are disagreeable because they can at times bring valuable, clear-headed perspectives, but Bontemps is disagreeable in the most insufferable way. Constantly interrupting, smarmy, rarely ever concedes on anything. I actively avoid listening to this podcast solely because of him.
25:18–25:55….This entire sequence was BY FAR the funniest part of the episode. I was dying laughing lol
Call me a delusional conspiracy theorist all you want, but I still think the Luka/AD trade was ultimately made by Adam Silver and the NBA.
"Luka's never coming back!" The pain on his face…
I love this pod, especially Bontempts, but I wouldn't won't to hang out with anyone bit banned macmahon. Noosh.😂
Wish you guys would have discussed which teams might even make a move for AD? I don't see many that make sense. Detroit maybe? Bulls because they are stupid? Maybe Atlanta would flip picks and KP for AD? It would have to be a team that thought they could go for it. I don't see many of those that aren't already hand cuffed with lack of assets.
Bontemps: Asks question.
Windy and McMahon try to answer sincerely
Bontemps: NO NO NO, IDIOTS!!
SMU is the GOAT
It would've been cool if Luka and Davis worked out together this last summer and both came back hard. The fact that one player was motivated for revenge and the other came in fat as hell tells you the killer instinct in these 2 players.
@26:50 The genuine respect and love from macmahon to botemps warns the hearrt
Anthony Davis for Ja Morant & a first round pick. Draft 2 guys in the first round.
Windhorst is the only person being logical. There are literally 70 games left and they're talking about tanking. They're 4th in defense. They can get it figured out.
If Dallas got off to a hot start like OKC and if AD and Kyrie were healthy this firing wouldn’t have happened but I know that’s a lot of “ifs”
It would be fun to hear Wendy and Mac and not this other bozos elongated take.
What theyre not talking about hid good this draft class is gonna be too alot of upside in ncaa basketball rn
And VJ is beating Cooper for ROY….
Tim Bontemps speaks a lot without listening. Good skill for reporting by asking questions, but not good for a podcast discussion. Interrupting Tim MacMahon when he has insider information on the Mavericks says a lot about who Tim Bontemps is as a person.
Need some color on this show
Anthony Davis being made out of paper got Nico Fired
I bet the kid he talked to was staged. Empty seats, wearing a Lakers 77 jersey. Theater.
I believe the Lakers get more than 1 win against the Wolves last year with the team they had prior to the trade.
I hate the hot takes on Coop. He's not gonna be a grown man for 4 or 5 years. If he does decent, he's alright. Losing right now is the best lesson he can get. Look at Wemby, being on a losing team was the best thing that happened to him in the long term.
For Dallas Nico Harrison is Pearl Harbour 2.0…
You know who could use AD and Klay? Milwaukee. Bet they'd trade a couple of Antetokounmpo brothers (but not Giannis) for them. Maybe they'll toss in a 2031 protected pick swap too?
These three have horrible chemistry….trash show…be better ESPN
Cooper deserves a better situation and his own team…. not one with AD/Kyrie.
I get douchebag vibes from Tim
Bontemps was extra annoying this episode. Talking over ppl, forcing his take on ppl. Becoming the "ego" he was trashing; " defense wins championship" said Nico. Dismissing Ad & Kyrie as if they are B class players, just the opposite. Tons mav fans love Kyrie & wont like trading him away.
Don’t let Luka averaging 37 distract you from the fact that defense wins championships
Thinking that Silver wouldn't help Nico for getting Luka with lebron to help with ratings makes more sense than anything Tim or Brian thinks.
