The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans, 125–117.

Shaedon Sharpe led Portland with 35 points on 13-of-18 shooting, along with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Deni Avdija added 32 points, shooting 12-of-18 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range.

For the Pelicans, rookie Derik Queen scored a career-high 26 points with seven rebounds and four assists, while Saddiq Bey added 25 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Trey Murphy III contributed 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists, and he moved into second place on the franchise’s all-time three-pointers made list, passing Jrue Holiday, with only CJ McCollum ahead of him.

With the win, Portland improves to 6–5, while New Orleans falls to 2–9.

  1. Oh how I love you Deni. Don’t you worry Deni, when you are eligible for a new contract, Cronin is going to take care of you. Start looking at really nice houses, you’ll be in Portland for a very long time.

  2. As a Blazer fan I'm super impressed with Jeremiah Fears. That kid is going to be very very good. Derik Queen has a ridiculous feel for the game as well. The Pel's are building something.

  3. Even when Jrue is not at his best, his impact is enormous.
    Deni benefits from playing besides a real playmaker. Shaedon is among the best athletes in the league, and he starts to prove why he can be phenomenal.
    JH is the key.
    Deni is the star.
    Tumani is the silent power behind everything.
    Grant and Shaedon are excellent, they really deserve respect.

  4. With all the controversy I didn’t think deni would get love in the nba but he’s one of the most beloved players in the league😂
