  1. Since Trae Young's absence, our defensive efficiency has ranked second in the league. The young players have been outstanding, with everyone contributing effectively. Currently, we have two engines—Dyson and Johnson—orchestrating the offense and driving the team defensively. This is the foundation of our team.

I suggest the management make an early decision: trade Trae Young to free up cap space and attempt to acquire Jaden Ivey from the Pistons. Ivey is a powerful finisher, unafraid of taking clutch shots, and possesses solid playmaking skills. His outside shooting is now excellent, his ball-handling is improving, and his physical talent and entertainment value are top-tier. He is undoubtedly the next elite offensive player poised for a breakout. Defensively, he is above average and showing clear signs of improvement. More importantly, he fits perfectly into a fast-paced transition system.

    Our ideal lineup would be:
    PG: Dyson Daniels
    SG: Jaden Ivey
    SF: Jalen Johnson
    PF: Onyeka Okongwu
    C: Kristaps Porziņģis

Meanwhile, Alexander-Walker could lead the second unit, which should feature more minutes for Gueye and Newell. If Risacher can be used as a trade asset for Ivey, it would be a worthwhile move. As for Trae Young, he could be leveraged to acquire a starting-caliber rim-protecting center and a sixth man. With these changes, the Hawks would truly become championship contenders.

  2. Jalen relies heavily on outmuscling his opponents for buckets, and I don’t think he has the muscle to sustain that style of play for a whole season. Awesome game, though.
