The fact that anyone has EVER truly thought the Clippers have had a legitimate shot at winning it all since Kawhi arrived there- with the exception of maybe the first year- is astounding to me. Especially since Harden has been on the team. Teams with James Harden are always going to flame out in the playoffs. The 2020 team had great potential for sure, but they proved to be way too cocky and undisciplined, and got embarrassed by Jokic and Co. I’ve just never understood anyone’s belief in this team. Even if their talent has looked good, there’s just always someone who’s gonna get hurt or have a meltdown.
