I rather get Gafford than Davis, Thompson or Irving
For us, Markkanen is the big swing that fits best. You can use Tyler to get him without losing the shooting limiting how much you change this roster. You get back a better rebounder/defender in a position of need. He’ll be an enormous help scoring in late game situations.
I like Gafford. Don’t think I’m trading Pelle though. Nor do I think Klay will mesh with this team personality wise.
I dunno what Atlanta would be interested in, but I would offer Tyler for Okongwu + NAW + 1 FRP. Okongwu fits us better than Gafford, NAW is awesome and pushes Dru out of the rotation, making us much more injury proofed at every position. You also get the same kind of tradable contracts you want ($15 million-ish) to help when it comes time to make a consolidation trade for a star.
Maybe we don’t freak out (even though the rebounding issue needs to be addressed) and wait and see when Bam and Tyler are playing. Both will help with rebounding, even though I’m really nervous about how Tyler changes us defensively.

AD not the right fit, he can't stay healthy or run with the new kids on the block, besides he is overpaid.. DG? Noooo… Klay? washed up… Mavs are not the right team to trade with. We need a Siekaly, Mourning or Shaq type, aggressive rebounders who score!
