Let me explain something about Jokic to you, people from the NBA and in the NBA don't understand that Jokic started his career as an organizer in small clubs because he was the best player and in Serbia they also play a lot of 3 on 3 and from there he was good at passing and shooting naturally when he grew up he changed his position but he stayed. One more thing if Jokic was in the Lakers I would have at least 3 more titles and one more thing I know that many people will not like what I am about to write but you looking long time successor of MJ, so you look at him, you just won't admit it
I think the joker is overlooked and underappreciated because he is not a marketable pretty boy. And maybe his style of play as well doesn't fit what people think is basketball.

Jokic I think has reached the same level as Aaron Judge. Judge has become so routinely great that you actually had people arguing against his AL MVP candidacy even though his OPS was 200 points higher and his WAR 2.7 more than Raleigh. The same thing goes for Jokic. I mean, you take him off Denver and with how competitive the West is I'm not even sure the Nuggets make the playoffs.
