When every teams and every players break offensive records, it means it’s time to bring back defense in the game. It’s all good to break records on easy mode, but it’s better to do it on hard mode.
Why is his mediocre ass defense never taken into account in these videos? He is offensive juggernaut. But he gets cooked on defense. Luka puts up similar offensive numbers and his defense is always accurately criticized.

Maybe I'm wrong, but as a water polo player and given that Jokic is serbian I wouldn't be surprised if he was coached in a similar style to water polo when he was young. Water polo is 6 v 6 and usually relies to set plays and high paced passing, and awareness especially in transition/on counterattack are parallel to basketball in many ways

its so fun to watch Jokic, i would add butler, giannis, steph and Buzelis to the line. This was a great video, that last graph made me say WTF out loud! I know the game is different and there is tons of flopping and 3 pt shooting but there is still something magical in the league and its hard not to get romantic about basketball when you see some of these players do what they do game after game!
