The NBA’s Worst Nightmare Is Here…
The OKC Thunder are terrifying… they’re at the top of the West, with crazy good advanced numbers, look to be a threat to break the NBA regular season wins record (which I may have predicted before the season)… and they’re doing all of this without Jalen Williams to start the year AND… things might get even more scary for the rest of the league AFTER this season for the Thunder.

Adam Silver will make sure the clippers pick is not going to be top 5 according to this year’s draft
okc might break the win record and win the finals
75 wins, repeat as Champions and the number 1 pick. Scary 😱
With this title. This should be a video about pistons. Go pistons.
I don't think draft picks/rookies would help them at this point. Their better off trading for a really good forward at this point like, Banchero, Giannis, Markkanen, Jalen Johnson, Barnes.
The year is just getting started
As long as the NBA can keep the FBI away from the draft balls, I’m not worried about OKC getting the 1st pick
They will be good for a while yea but I don't think people understand just how rare dynasty's are. It will only be a matter of time before too many players ask for max contracts and the team has to blow up. It happens all the time.
It's better than you stated. You didn't mention that they also own the 76's pick (top 4 protected) and they get the most favorable 2 picks of the Clippers, Rockets (top 5 protected) and their own.
9:55 13th pick? That's pretty much Jdub territory right there.
OKC is historically great in defense – Defense wins championship confirmed
OKC also has the Rockets and 76ers picks. They can either move those like they did #24 this last draft to future drafts, or move up in 2026. I doubt the Jazz let it happen, but OKC getting a 9-14 pick would be crazy, so many talented PF's in the 2026 lottery, and that's the only real hole OKC has now is a backup 4. As old as they are, I think the Clippers will come back and at least be a play-in team, so I doubt that's a top 5 pick.
OKC will be the best team for the next 5 years
I Don’t Get Why The NBA Wants The Same Teams To Keep Winning .. If You Want To Actually Build These Small Markets Up You Need What’s Happening In OKC .. From 10yrs Ago Living In VA But Flying Out To OKC For A Game ( It’s Cheaper Than You Think I Have No Problem Flying Spirit Judge Me Idc ) The City Has Changed A LOT & I Can Only Imagine What This Championship & A Couple Deep Playoff Runs Will Add To OKC As A City
Zero chance Adam Silver gives the #1 overall pick to a small market team that's already dominating the league
If healthy the Thunder go 78-4
And it all starts with the clippers. They gave them the mvp, they gave them his running mate with the first round pick in Jalen Williams, they gave them the best rebuild they could have ever had.
We also have the 76'rs pick and Houston's in the 1st round. If the Jazz picks conveys we have 4 1st round picks
Utah Jazz, for the love of god, please just tank and keep your pick.
Dallas only got the first pick cause Adam silver gave it to em for sending Luka to the lakers like shut up about that Dallas pick
It’s looking like they can trade Jalen, and still continue winning titles. Not only that, the asset haul they would get for Jalen would be substantial.
They'll lose to Pistons in Finals, but I love how these 2 teams were built
Thunder run the NBA now.⚡️
I predict the thunder trading JW in the future.
This could be simelar to the 2000s era where the spurs and lakers dominated the leauge now it could be the thunder and the spurs because they both have such taleted young stars its honestly crazy
Okc defense last season was not as good as this season cause chet and Ihart only played 16 games together.
At this point every team might as well just tank against the clippers cause if the thunder get even a top 5 pick in this draft they will be unbeatable for 5 years
Really should have talked about their picks beyond next season's draft. Includes another clippers pick swap and a Dallas pick swap, both looking good, and some denver picks down the road that are only top 5 protected.
I saw someone post on twitter the fact that they could get the #1 pick that the Clippers should be demoted to the G League as punishment for creating this team. lol
Lol you can blame this on GMs and fans who said they dont value draft picks and get overrated veteran players.
The Nets paid for it in the Celtic trade.
Clippers paying for it now.
Dallas gonna pay for it in the future.
At this point, rival GM's need to STOP picking up the phone when Presti calls. Enough.
Blame the heat for making harden leave they got no rings out of that they coming to get double now
I have faith in Adam Silver and his draft machine
Forgot the Sixers pick too
You somehow miss the fact that Oklahoma is first in defense and Denver is second. Denver is first on offense. Last year, Denver and Oklahoma played 7 games in the playoffs. I will not mention Denver's injured players who played then because they should not have played if they were injured, there were other players on the bench which was very thin, until this year. Denver is now a completely different team compared to the past 10 seasons and Jokic can be on the bench for the first time without the team conceding 20 points and scoring 4. It will be an interesting season.
This would be like the 1982 lakers winning the NBA championship, and then selecting James Worthy with the 1st pick all over again
That draft had Worthy, Nique, Terry Cummings at the top, and pre injury clark kellogg was a beast too.
Bro I have been watching you forever and I never subbed idk why… But now I am, I love your analyst.
You’re ignoring the fact that the penalties for being in the second curtain for multiple years do not harm a team that wants to maintain the same roster. Only tax penalties. If the owners are willing to continue to pay the team can pay the players whatever they want and keep the same roster. There is no hard cap.
Good video! However, the pick situation isnt exactly the way you stated. Actually, its even better for OKC. They currently have 4 first round picks, not 2. They could have the 76ers first depending on how things shake out and they also have the Rockets first swap rights. Their pick would go to the Wizards and, barring anything crazy, that should be no lower than pick 29. Its good times here in OKC
They need to put heavy restrictions on teams trading away draft picks. You should only be allowed to trade one singular draft year of any single player first round second round doesn’t matter you can only trade one.
Teams need to realize draft picks are more valuable than free agents now the players coming into the league or significantly more developed and ready to play now
Thunder up!!!
I didn't know Oklahoma City had a team are they any good?
Almost every year for the last several years once a team wins the championship the media projects out their dynasty, and it doesn't happen. Bucks, Nuggets, Celtics. And now the Thunder.
