I’m not gonna sit here and glaze. But what Jokic is doing just looks so crazy. Even without Cam putting up good numbers the team looks so much better on defense with him over MPJ.
And the starters(other than braun) got to take the whole 4th quarter off, which helps prepare them for their first back ti back
I'm a Bulls fan also, and there locked on doesn't hit the same as my boys from the Locked On Nuggets podcast. Also, great questions the other night matt during the post game for the heat game.
People who only watch nba have problems of understanding the game beyond points, triple doubles or plus minus.

The bench is the key here, and in particular Valančiūnas. And the reason behind a good bench is a competent front office. With Booth, you would still have MPJ on the team and would still be getting annoyed at Nnaji, Strawther and Pickett.

MPJ is a 30 point – bpm guy, Cam thus far has been a 9 point + bpm guy. It doesn’t matter if Mike scores, he loses teams games, repeatedly backdoored, took 5 years to not learn the basics of his team’s defense.. and he kicks it with nazi laura loomer. Fuck Mike
I feel like it is more likely that Cam goes unconscious and finds his stroke then it is that he stays in this funk.
Serbian fans have been frustrated in the past two seasons because the team has not been good enough to win a title, so they blame Jamal and MPJ for it, not because of their game, but more because of their salaries. I am still in love with MPJ and follow him in the Nets, but I would trade him. What Nuggets get for him at the end is unreal. Fans should not criticize Cam so much. Pressure is not gonna help him. His scoring will come. Everything else is good.

The nuggets would be stacked if they had MPJ and Russ instead of Cam Johnson and Bruce Brown. The real reason why the nuggets are so good right now is because of Val and THJ. If they still had mpj and russ then it would be a clear shot to the championship.

The trade for Cam was purely worth it because it allowed Denver to get a deeper bench.
Murray has been getting whacked around sijnce the wolves game planned that in the playoffs a couple years ago and since then, hes been getting that type of defensive coverage…
Lets think about MPJ-Cam in a different light, and it might help some who are still trying to catch up to the rest of the class.
Cam- 25m, 1r, 4a, 1s, 0 TO
Val- 16m, 16p, 6r, 1a, 0 TO
So they combined for 16p, 7r, 5a, 1s, and ZERO Turnovers in 41 minutes on court. Cam $21m and Val $10m, for $31m total in salary this year.
MPJ last year 18p, 7r, 2a, .6s, .5b, 1.4 Turnovers in 33m. For $35 million in salary cap.
So we have two players who scored a little less than MPJ, and rebounded the same, had more assists with less turnovers which is the key to Jokic-ball, and $4 million less in Salary Cap used. I do not care what MPJs numbers are currently with the Nets, he is being fed the ball in Brooklyn and could not score more here because there is 1 ball and only so many shots to go around and he is less efficient shooting in Brooklyn.
Either the people complaining have never compared stats, or more likely they cannot be happy about anything and just want to complain. Yes Cam needs to sink shots, but he and Val are not losing us games and are not just stand in the corner guys because they have glaring weaknesses. I will take good depth over MPJ any day.
Im fine with everything Mal, AG CB and the Bench….all good. Jokic needs to stay aggressive. 3pt shooting should come around and I dont think Cam will be this all year. Still just comes down to Jokic as it should. If stands around the 3pt line just passes all night and doesn't put preasure on the rim they will lose. If he plays hard the rest of the team will fallow and if its an off shooting night they probably still win and if they hit buckets it will be a blow out.

There is not a Single living human being right now INCLUDING in the chiefs locker room that thinks the broncos can beat the chiefs next week. Nice try. They (chiefs) have zero bulletin board material and the 8-2 broncos somehow now do and will throughout the week…because of that raiders game.
Somehow the broncos will be playing with the chip on their shoulder and the chiefs are IN TROUBLE. Because there is nothing they fear from Denver and they can’t make something up. They will come in overconfident.
My only dig is that I wish DA would’ve kept Cam in a little while longer to get him some reps in.
