Jokic averages 2 steals a game in his career. MJ averaged 2.3 and Hakeem averaged 1.7 who are all time elite defenders. Blocks are rarer today because of the perimeter game and less valuable because half the possessions are lost anyways. He isn't as good as Gobert on defense, but he isn't awful as some haters claim. He is already the best offensive center ever. If he understands offense, it makes sense he understands defense just as well. Personally, I prefer steals over blocks. Blocks and dunks are more crowd pleasing, but overrated. I do see Jokic dunk more against Wemby because he respects Wemby's rim protection ability even from far away. AG and Murray looked improved and focused this year. I think Nuggets win it all.
