The Dallas Mavericks lost yet another home game to yet another Western Conference team, falling 133-127 in double overtime to the LA Clippers. The Mavs are now 0-7 against Western Conference teams. Cooper Flagg had some moments late in regulation and in the overtimes, but spent a weird amount of time standing in the corner, too. Naji Marshall had a productive game, D’Angelo Russell had his moments, and Klay Thompson enjoyed a 3-point flurry early in the game, but otherwise it was a giant slog in the mud for a Dallas offense still looking for any sort of identity.
