Stephen An absolute travesty of an excuse for a media member Smith
Stephen A man who thinks big words makes him intelligent Smith
I’m not worried about Nico I’m more worried about Stephen A smooth brain Smith
if Stephen said "best in the business" one more time I would've gotten an aneurism
How are these NBA players hurt all the time? thes game is a joke
This is poor very reporting. Nico was not fired because the Mavs traded Luka. He was fired because of the poor performance of the Mavs this season. Kyrie is a huge piece in the Mavs and he is injured. This fact is well under reported. Luka had weight issues that they could not fix with him, which made him injury prone when he was traded. Yes, AD is also injury prone, but they got Flagg as a result of the trade. So, why is this all about Luka? Nico wasn’t the reason ownership changed. Was he. Did Nico make Mark Cuban sell let go of the franchise?
Poor journalism is being displayed here.
The only way to fix this is to bring Luka back, trade him back to Dallas.
How you gonna give the owners a pass? The owner has the final say
Shams lying 3:24 he saying what they paying him to say
300 million supermax is nothing for Luka Doncic. Every team will pay a lot more than that
Why was there such a need to call him the best in the business 10x
This should only be a shock to millennials and no one else. Dallas has an impressive history of doing dumb shit! The Dallas Cowboys are in Arlington, that’s not even Dallas county. Let that sink in! Luka being traded is no surprise to many sports fans in Texas.
Dumont doesn’t know shit about basketball, just a billionaire making an investment. All he cares about is revenues . I say this because I don’t see how an owner can sign off on a trade like this. The GM told him how he can save him millions by not resigning a young generational talent and by trading it for SOMEONE past his prime and injury riddled. So, yes, please sell the team to someone who gives a f about the game and the city.
SA: "Shams, was it Nico or Ownership to blame"
Shams: "It is 100% Nico's idea, plan, and blame"
SA: "No Shams, what I'm asking, is if it we can blame someone else"
Shams: "It was Nico"
SA: "Is there any way this was Ownership and not Nico?"
the owner should fire himself
Wtf was Nico thinking bro?
When Michael Finley took Docic beer out of his hands, I knew there was something wrong!
You cannot do that to your Superstar Player! Especially him taking your team to the NBA Finals!
didnt stephen say it was good trade for the mavs?? lmaoo
To be fair, Luka was not a top 5 player last year. The lakers werent able to get out of the first round. I know they look promising this year but Luka did underperform by his standards last season.
People saying it's not Nico's fault needs a reality check. If an owner who doesn't know anything about basketball wants to create a team, he needs a GM to make sure that the pieces fit. Nico created that team which made the finals and props to him. But if we are going to give him credit for that finals appearance, we also have to blame him for coming up with the idea of trading Luka. Yes management approved it but the expert in this case suggested to do so. Nico was a good GM who just blundered at the end and sadly, stuff like this happens all the time. Not just in basketball but in life. Dumont is of course partly to blame but we all know he knows nothing about basketball. He's simply there to supply the money and support the GM.
